Remember when suddenly Uber and Lyft appeared out of nowhere, and suddenly every city in the country that used to require anyone who hauled passengers for money had to be licensed as a taxicab disappeared all those laws?

How many people will suddenly be out of work when (not if, sez the WEF) the net goes down? How many services won't be available because there's no longer a traditional, local, possibly radio-dispatched provider?
