This touches upon a hot issue that seems to cause quite amount of conflict and dismay upon and between Ron Paul Supporters.
So, in the interest of dealing with the problem in a straightforward and practical manner, I propose we evaluate the various types of people who profess to share our cause and start an mini campaign within the campaign in order to distance ourselves from those elements.
What follows is a list, not even nearly complete, but fairly indicative of what we must purge from our rank and file.
Of course, I don't propose putting windows into the soul's of others but, similar to the don't ask don't tell policy, when certain things come to light, that person should no longer be welcome among our ranks.
Criteria of individuals we will have to purge from the Ron Paul Support Base:
-Agnostics
-self proclaimed patriots
-Bohemians
-Gypsies
-Gamers
-Geeks
-consumers of pornography
-providers of porn
-Goths
-Jehovah's Witnesses
-BDSM community members
-Prostitutes (paid/pro bono)
-Gamblers
-USS Liberty activists
-Gun enthusiasts
-Mormons
-Pot Smokers (medical/recreational)
-Drug users
-atheists
-Holocaust revisionists
-Punk rockers
-Abortion Clinic Protestors
-Motorcycle gang members
-John Birch society members
-Wiccans
-Pagans
-Hollow-Earthers
-Truthers
-White separatists (active/former)
-Survivalists
-Criticizers of the State of Israel
-Pacifists
-Transvestites
-Atlantologists
-Pentecostal Christians (speaking in tongues/snake handling)
-Black Panthers (active/former)
-Micheal Moore admirers
-Homosexuals (flamboyant/nelly/leather wearing/Out)
-Conscientious Objectors
-Income tax protesters
-Flat earthers
-Furrys
-Abraham Lincoln detractors
-Articles of the Confederation promoters
-Draft dodgers
-professed psychics, fortune tellers
-Muslims
-High school drop outs
-Creationists
-Jury Nullification advocates
It is important to note that this isn't a judgment or a suggestion of any illegality regarding any particular "group" of people, it's just a simple tool to help us reduce the likelihood that any association by certain types of people can't be used to "smear" Ron Paul's candidacy.
Do we really want punk hair cuts, tattoos, 9/11 Truth signs, scraggly beards, pierced noses and free condoms at Ron Paul rallies?
And that's just the visible stuff!
What happens when a reporter digs deeper and finds out that a Ron Paul supporter downloads porn off the Internet on a regular basis?
Or worse, what if word comes out that a Ron Paul supporter owns and operates a Porn Site?
What about that guy that keeps saying that Stalin killed more people than Hitler?
You see my point? We have to clamp down on this stuff and not allow it to be used against Ron Paul.
After all, if we all want to be free, we must be willing to give up some of our selfish beliefs, goals and ideas in order to secure that freedom. Just think what damage could be done if the press started pointing out what type of people supported Ron Paul!
Comments welcome.
Thank You.
