OMG! That's rich! Censor Ron Paul: Fucking good reason C-SPAN must die!

Too bad nothing's happened since '06.

They just said that Ron Paul's speech will be aired at 9:00 on Cspan2

Yes - after waiting on hold for a few minutes, I asked if CSPAN will go back to covering the rest of the CPAC Convention.

- He told me 'we will be showing it tonight at 9pm on CSPAN-2 - Ron Paul will be on it, that's who your calling about isn't it?

Oh Well.

I think we should! Anyone have the FCC Report link?

Oh well, lets blow up (by calling them, gotta be careful what you say these days in the us!) the phones and let our voice be heard!

Rang about 20 times

Put on Hold for 6 minutes

Guy picked up the phone

Said we are going to air Paul's Speech at 9:00PM on CSPAN 2

I said so you don't think he should get equal coverage? Why not air his speech live?
He said well, look , We have a lot of calls coming in right now, I can forward you to the comment line.

And then he forwarded me.

Left a real nice message for those S.O.B.'s!

Keep calling. Seriously. This is absolute bullshit. They CLEARLY made an exception to broadcast McCain on television because their servers can't keep up. They need to do the same for the others.

GOOD OLD MSNBFUCKINGC Ownes c spam:mad:

From their website:

C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company, created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a public service. Our mission is to provide public access to the political process. C-SPAN receives no government funding; operations are funded by fees paid by cable and satellite affiliates who carry C-SPAN programming.

Oh well, I guess programming from wednesdays transportation hearings are more important than covering Ron Paul. What pissed me off the most was the way the guy acted when I asked him if they really held the programming for McCain, but not for Ron Paul.

I think that MSNBC owns part of it however, they have alot of the same people on the 2 networks, all these things are owned by the same companies in one way or another.
