From my Myspace bulletins...

CSPAN TV Censors Ron Paul at CPAC

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The schedule for CSPAN TV today shows John McCain speaking to CPAC at 3pm, but fails to show Ron Paul speaking to CPAC at 4:30pm.

CSPAN is covering th American Conservative Union's (CPAC) Convention today live on CSPAN3. Complete coverage of CPAC is provided via the internet at cspan.org. However, only selected coverage is provided via TV. CSPAN's TV schedule shows John McCain speaking to CPAC at 3pm, but does not show Ron Paul, who is speaking to CPAC at 4:30pm.

When CSPAN was contacted by phone, they could not explain why John McCain is shown on the TV schedule, while Ron Paul is not. An unnamed CSPAN representative explained that while the CPAC event will be covered live, it will be interrupted if there is a congressional hearing, and therefore it could not be determined in advance whether or not Ron Paul will be interrupted. Again, they could not explain why John McCain is shown on the TV schedule speaking to CPAC at 3pm, but does not show Ron Paul, who is speaking to CPAC at 4:30pm.

They said they will be airing Paul's speech tonight ~9pm. There is a Senate vote that just started, so they can't interrupt it. I also suggested they put a link or info on Paul on c-span.org, and he said that is a good idea since they are receiving many calls about this.

Keep calling C-Span and ask why, and ask that they put a link on their front page to it since they did it for Romney and McCain.

Yep, I think you are right, it just switched to some transportation BS! I think we need to make a hell of a lot of phone calls!

Yes, they've officially cut back to regular programming on C-Span3 and the stream is no longer working.

I'm listening to C-SPAN on XM Radio (XM132) and they're bringing the Ron Paul CPAC speech at 4:30. ...they just announced it.

They just annointed John McCain at the meeting. They aren't even waiting for Huckabee to drop out. McCain didn't even mention Ron Paul. It is down to One according to the media. McCain's not running against anyone anymore.

I know what I am going to get called for saying this, but it sounds like a brokered convention is an even longer shot. No one will know Ron Paul is still running in those states aside from tv ads he will run.

The timing could be perfect- wait a few days for Republicans to get worked up at not wanting to vote for McCain, then do a huge national ad buy and announce a 3rd party run!

Though, I will continue to support Ron Paul no matter what. It's just a thought I'm throwing out there.

Called and talked to some guy called slade, he has an attitude and made no bones about the fact that they held on for McCain, but didn't have time for Ron Paul. I hope you guys and gals call and give them hell!!
