Instruct the Department of Justice and the IRS to start persecuting religious liberty? He says it about 1:44:44 in this video. He was probably in a rush to include a lot of things in his potential first day in office statement. He likely meant to say stop not start I think.

Yes. Other stumbled slightly in their closing statement including Rand and Donald. Ted stumbled the most by saying the opposite of what he meant.

Cruz's gaffe was saying he would like to move Israel's capital to Jerusalem like that should be a goal of an American president.

In the context of everything else he said last night, it was clear he meant to say "stop persecuting."

It occurred to me as I was going to sleep last night that the event wasn't a debate at all. A better term for what we witnessed would be "group interview". A debate has all the candidates addressing the same topic, not questions tailored to each person specifically.

Wonder if someone will ever say: I would reveal the true nature of US - Israel relationship. :D

Nobody asks for pledges during debates either.

Cruz was given soft ball questions that gave him cover making him look tough on immigration. This is the same guy that proposes a 500% increase in H1B's. I am really sick of FNC always giving Cruz a pass.

I think this is FNC's way of directing potential Rand supporters to their preferred candidate.
