Men choose looks, women chose money and power. Same as it ever was.
Neither are old men

Men choose looks, women chose money and power. Same as it ever was.
Broad statement I would say.
Yes, I didn't mean it to be so absolute - but the trend is undeniable. There's a lot of research that backs that as well. It's just the way it is.
She worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs...
OK perhaps some of the young women here can explain it better. Ladies, what do you call old men who hit on you?
Why is it creepy? Old women are not as attractive...
A sample of today's "old" women (40+) LOL!

It's not creepy...just not in keeping with our social expectations. The possible cheating on his wife part is the sad thing.
I think social expectations have changed dramatically over the years, don't you? Older men with younger women has been accepted by society for ages. The double standard has always been toward older women with younger men. But even that is changing. If you look back at the way women and men used to look when they were 40 + years of age and older from say, your grandparents generation and compare them to the people of the same age today, there's a HUGE difference. People the same age today, don't look as old as they used to back then.

Men are programmed to be visually stimulated. That doesn't go away with age. If you ask a twenty-something if he'd like a bikini-clad model, he'll say yes, generally. It's just that the older guy usually has the money, power, and/or wisdom to actually seal the deal.
Men are creeps starting at the age 13.![]()
Truth.
The late bloomers are.
Formula for creepiness: if her age < (his age/2) +7, it is creepy.
He's 68, she's 30...
30 ?< (68/2) +7
30 ?< (34)+7
Yes this is creepy. Pretty damn far into creepy, actually. His minimum threshold for non-creepiness would be a woman aged 41.
As it is, he is old enough not just to be her father, but to be her grandfather.
Age/2+7 is an absolutely ridiculous standard.
A 68 year old with a 41 year old would be very, very creepy.
A 20 year old with a 16 year old would be a bit odd, but not "creepy."
