Listening to RedState guy on my way home. News from CPAC:

1. There is very little passion this year at CPAC, although Santorum seems to have the crowd's "heart," whatever that means.
2. Romney is the tin man and is lacking a heart (my own interpretation, but I think it hits the spot). Romney needs passionate grassroot supporters.
3. The most popular guy at CPAC is Mark Block, who people want to get pictures with, while he's smoking outside.
4. The OWS group is there dressed as Ron Paul supporters (?)
5. Romney can't win without the conservative base.

Heard one guy say Romney trying to talk about Republican principles is like listening to Spock read a love letter.

#4 is more than curious. neocon wankers trying to paint paul supporters as OWS people?

Ocuppy DC (not OWS so far as I know) has been saying it is going to go disrupt things and pretend to be Ron Paul supporters. I hope any of our own people who actually are there are on the lookout for them and can stay clear.

Either that, or Erickspin is lying. I surely wouldn't put it past him.

I believe he said they're wearing Ron Paul gear...?

that would make sense. He is probably correct, there was a lot of stuff on the internet about their planning to make trouble and blame it on us. I'm just glad he recognizes it isn't really us. Likely he had a conversation with them and they didn't have a clue about Paul's positions or something.

Ron doesn't get the nod I'll be happy to shoe the GOP down the wash bin of history faster than it all ready is. It's their choice. Fight and die, or assimilate and live on.

confused here... i don't follow the occupy movement closely - why would they want to make us look bad at cpac?

-_-

I can't for the life of me understand why the Occupy people don't support Ron Paul. Those people should be chanting Ron Paul in the streets not that 99% stuff all day. Thats true and all in some ways but they are trying to fix the problem the wrong way in my opinion.
