there should be a button on your keyboard that says "Prnt Scrn" hit that button and it captures a snapshot of you screen, then take it to paint and paste it.
Now go along and make President Paul smile
Unless you're running Mac OS X
In that case you can either use the "Grab.app" utility in your Applications/Utilities folder or use the built-in keyboard shortcut: APPLE+SHIFT+3 to capture fullscreen or ALT+SHIFT+4 to get a cross-hair that you can use to draw a box around what you want to capture. (You can change the keyboard command in your system prefs if you want)
In either case, the screengrab will be saved to your desktop.
