It's possible. Especially after watching the terrible calls that the Titans got against Baltimore, I came to believe that there might be some dealing going on.

Idunno. I guess it's possible. I'm not familiar with the NFL at all except to know that it relates to football and I think stands for "National Football League", which is probably weird for foreigners like yourself.

I've thought it was rigged since the Patriots won after 9/11. And then the Saints won after Katrina. Yeah, seriously? Rigged.

tin foil hats please, that being said.

The officiating can more or less decide a game as rule laden as the NFL.

Don't think its intentionally rigged.

.

I don't think so.
You have to understand how hard it is to call plays sometimes. There only human. And besides the nfl DOES let you challenge calls. I could be wrong but I think you have to look at whether or not the nfl get any share in advertising dollars from the networks that actually cover the games. If they do then that type of corruption could come from the league rigging games. I think if there's any rigging going on at all then it would have to be football clubs bribing individual ref's.

Do you know how many people would have to be "in on it".. for it to be rigged?
Even the XFL couldn't pull off a NWO or WWF style "pre-planned" game if they wanted to...
Someone would object... someone would tell a girlfriend who would tell their brother who would post it on myspace...

People who gamble on games are more apt to think someone is rigging it against them.

The saints have great offensive players, so I don't see how it is rigged that they had success.

I was just pointing out how they didn't win it all like the Patriots did.

what is sad... they use to have the best defense... with no offense under jim mora.
they even had all 4 of their linebackers in the pro-bowl.

The year carolina did so good when coming into the league... majority of their defense were old saints players.

NFl is definitely not rigged.

Brees came up a few yards shy of the passing record on a team that didn't make the play-offs.
This isn't how you script your holywood film.

I don't think THAT many people would have to be IN ON IT. Offensive coordinator calls a FEW bad plays and gets a bunch from a FEW gambling bets. Same for refs, but harder.

If the league wants attention and ratings, it could rig a few games here and there. I don't think the league gets ad revenue.

I don't gamble.

a corrupt coach does not make the NFL rigged.

And a corrupt official would not have enough power to ensure a team advances far in the playoffs.

I'm in agreement with Torch

bad plays?
Like calling a dive play on a 3rd and 7?
Do you see this kind of play calling?
That would be a bad play. Its a 1-3 yards play.

ALl I've seen all season are coordinators calling plays that fit the situation. It's individual players that decide if the play is going to work.

As mentioned, there are too many people involved in an NFL game. You would have to pay off a bunch of players to throw a game and with TV and instant replay, it would be extremely difficult for the refs to throw a game. Basketball is easier to rig since there are fewer players.

And the Jesuits, Free Masons, Jews, CFR members, international bankers, the CIA, and aliens are all involved.

where's the "it's rigged even if it's not rigged" answer? It's just a big distraction from important things in life, IMHO.
