Ron Paul said, "The government shouldn't be directing research and development because they are bound and determined to always misdirect money to political cronies. The government ends up subsidizing things like the corn industry to develop ethanol and it turns out that it's not economically feasible. So, my answer to energy is to let the market work. Let supply and demand make the decision. Let prices make the decision. That is completely different than the bureaucratic and cronyism approach."

This doesn't sell to well to corn farmers in Iowa. But it's his view and he's unwavering, and does not pander to specific groups just to get their vote and then change his mind. Ron said this and STILL got 10% in Iowa, which is an utterly amazing number, considering also that 60% of the Republican vote last night came from born-again evangelicals.
Onto Wyoming this Saturday, which will give us the right momentum heading into the New Hampshire debate and primary! Don't forget, 2 months ago Dr. Paul won the Wyoming straw poll in a landslide!
