Convention to bring Ron Paul, 15,000 visitors to Cincinnati

Former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul is among the notable guests who will attend the Midwest Homeschool Convention at the Duke Energy Convention Center April 4-6.

The convention is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees to Cincinnati, which will contribute to the growing Downtown economy.

More than 3,000 hotel rooms have been contracted for the event and more than $1 million in direct spending is expected for the region as a result.

The convention is open to the public and admission cost starts at $40. Tickets for Ron Paul’s keynote speech will be sold separately starting at $6. The speech will be at 8 p.m. April 6.
