Controversial libertarian Bill Maher offers Trump a check to leave office: 'You love money'

He takes Syria's oil, gives arms to Saudi Arabia, and when Israel yells, "Jump!" he asks, "How high?"

But since he only talks trash about Ron Paul every other time he discusses him, he must be a noninterventionist.

He opposed the Iraq war,he supported the impeachment of George W Bush. He wants to end the wars in afghanistan & Syria.
He opposed the Libya war. He is the only President since Jimmy carter that didn't started a new war.
Trump was wrong to bomb syria twice. He is wrong on Israel & Saudi arabia. He is not perfect but his Foreign Policy is closer to ron paul than to George W Bush!

Libertarian Party is now a progressive anti-conservative party.

It's been going that way for a long time.

Social conservatives have to look elsewhere. Constitution Party, Independent, or the new one I like,
American Solidarity Party.

Typical Bill Maher talking points: I have always been libertarian. I’m against the drug war but let’s be reasonable. All American should pay their fair share. I don’t care who you are if you are a citizen of this country you should pay your fair share. We should also keep all guns away from criminals and anyone who potentially could become a criminal. No one needs an assault weapon. Donald Trump and Rand Paul are dumbasses!

Audience: Cheers!

LP platform still likes low taxes, low spending, small government not intruding in lives, privacy, free markets, etc. Stuff conservatives claim to like but never really enforce as long as an R is in office, throws a few bones about abortion and kowtows to Israel, while blowing up deficits and growing government bigger and bigger. Religious conservatives never were attracted to the LP since the LP platform has never supported forcing religious views onto people via government. It fact, that's sorta the antithesis of liberty....

Without tax returns to back that statement up it's just as likely he earned more money.

That's like saying without a doppler reading it's impossible to back the statement that it's raining outside. Why in the world should Trump show his tax returns, and reveal his business strategies to competitors? Nobody in business wants others to know where they are making and losing money. This is just crazy. What is next, if Trump doesn't let the NYT go through his personal phone and his sock drawer he must be hiding cocaine and compromising text messages? Libertarians are the last people I thought would be pushing this tax return narrative. Liberals are in search of any crime. They will hammer away to look under every rock until they find something, but don't you dare say anything about Hillary accepting bribes through the Clinton Foundation. If Trump gives them the tax returns then they will want to go through his books. If he gives them his books they will want to go through his personal letters. It's never been about transparency, it's only about overturning an election that didn't go the way they wanted.

I'm not saying he should be handing over anything, I'm just saying there is no actual way to say he's losing or earning money without actually seeing the books. Estimates can be given by Forbes and others, yet even Forbes' numbers never matched the Donald's "10 BILLION DOLLARS" tweet. The biggest difference between Trump and other's appears to be how much value to place on the trump brand. Trump thought it was worth many billions more than anyone else. The value of the brand was more than all his other assets combined.

With the astonishing numbers of die hard trumpers, and the number of people who have shown up to his rallies for years, I would say he has a better value proposition for his brand now than ever. Trump, and his children, now have a steady supply of life long consumers for brand expansion once they stop focusing so much on politics. If he is a 2 term president his supporters and eventual consumers of Trump will become even stronger.

Of course this is all a guess, we can't give actual factual statements one way or another.

Factual statements from the article I linked:

"Profits fell 89 percent from 2015 to 2018, from $16.7 million to $1.8 million, according to documents filed with Cook County, Illinois. Trump's hotel struggled even as other Chicago hotels held steady or thrived."

Placing short and long bets on the stock exchanges right before market based tweets could erase that deficit in a single day.

"people are innocent, you know, until alleged to be involved in some kind of criminal activity."

John Brennan

It's not criminal activity. Shady AF but not illegal, as long as disclosure statements are made by the President. Staffers and administration officials, like Jared and Ivanka, are free to do it as much as they want without disclosures.

That doesn't change the fact that you are asserting it to be a fact without the slightest shred of evidence.

My bad. I guess I should assume the best from the guy that lies 24/7/365 as a profession, talked nonstop about how rich he is and shat into a gold toilet, instead of assuming what Occam's Razor says is the likeliest scenario.
