Mitt won't have shot once it's just him and Dr. Paul
thats what he knows, as do all of them. they only dream they had the fire behind RPs campaign for their own.
Mitt won't have shot once it's just him and Dr. Paul
And i might add, other candidates are so jelous of the fire we RP guys have and what we can do. It seems to me they are grasping at straws to get a piece of us. They are so afraid of pauls message going further and into the ears of all of America. Dont let them ride on our coat tails. Be strong for Ron and not them. (and im talking about the candidates themselves...not their supporters. They are human just like us, we can turn them on to RP if done right)
Thanks for all the replies.
And I agree that Mitt Romney was unnecessarily aggressive towards Ron Paul at the debates, and I do hope he apologizes for that.
But I've researched and found that Ron Paul would be a good VP or cabinet member, and I'm sure Romney will see that if he's nominated and has to choose his cabinet. Since he's been in the business, and private sector his whole life, he knows how to put a good team together to get things done, and I've seen that Ron Paul really wants to get things done![]()
I know that you guys really are true and through for Ron Paul and will stand by him all the way, but if he ever happens to drop out would your support ever go to Romney? Because if Romney drops out and Paul is still in it, my support would surely go to him.
The only way I would consider voting for Romney in the general election (which would mean Paul lost) would be if Paul is not running as an independent and Romney took 30 seconds of his debate time this Thursday to apologize about being rude to Dr. Paul and subsequently all of his passioniate supporters.
I'm actually talking to the Mitt supporters right now and we're trying to get Mitt to apologize to Paul at the next debate. I want them two to build strong relations.
----------
Perfect scenerio
Romney gets all the Republican votes
Paul gets all the Libertarian/independent votes
Republicans win general election.

I'm very open to being corrected about my impression that Romney is no conservative, but it's statements like these that solidify my impression:
Romney: "First, we have to tackle the problems head on. If I am your President, in my first 100 days, I will roll up my sleeves, and I will personally bring together industry, labor, Congressional and state leaders to develop a plan to rebuild America's automotive leadership. It will be one that works for Michigan and that works for the American taxpayers."
Here's the full piece.
Sounds more like a slouching towards fascism than a solid constitutional conservative!
But, hey, maybe you can set me straight...
. . . If Ron Paul isn't on the ballet I'll be voting Libertarian again. . .
