Looks like over the weekend the Wall Street Bailout Bill will be brought up to a floor vote.

With Americans up in arms over the Bailout what could the Congress do to protect themselves from a Political Backlash? Very simple, the Bill can be passed using only a voice vote. As long as no one calls for a recorded vote and it is seconded. Worse case scenario is the chair doesn't acknowledge the call for a recorded vote. In this way every Senator and Congressman can go home next week and say to their constituents that they did not vote for the Wall Street Bailout Bill. Collectively saving their political arses.

If this happens it will prove that the American Taxpayer has been fleeced. If this scenario comes to fruition it will be easy to start a nationwide movement to remove all incumbent candidates from office. We must keep this moment fresh in our memories. Because in just 2 short years, other Capital Hill incumbents will be on the ballot for re-election.
