Comprehensive List of Potential VP's for Top 5 Candidates

Those same people have no idea what either santorum's or rubio's policies are. The only thing they know about santorum is he says he believes in the bible and he wants to kill iranians.

Santorum is against "man on dog"

Its been over a month... many primaries and caucus have passed.... any new thoughts?

This was fun to read. Good lists from the OP. My 2 cents: Elevate Mitch Daniels to first tier for Mittens? Strike Pawlenty.

Eh, word in the Romney campaign is that the 'short list' will def. include Rubio, Christie, Ryan. The smart money is on Rubio.

Oh, and someone earlier said Gary Johnson would be a 'great pick'. I disagree with that- I don't think Johnson does a damn thing to help Dr. Paul's electability. If he wants to win he would have to pick someone to keep the very large conservative base from revolting out from under him and (potentially) supporting a third party.

U guys might laugh at me, but I would be the happiest person around if rp was potus, and my boy Doug wead was vp!!!! I absolutely love him!!!!!! I love how he just rips apart the media and basically tears them to shreds all with a huge huge smile on his face!! and in a nice way :)

I find it amusing that Wead usually laughs before uttering his first word in an interview. Imagine him in an interview as VP. "Mr. Vice President, what is the administration's reaction to Iran?" Wead: "Ho ho ha ha...the Iranians...so and so...:

I'd like to see Michael Scheuer or Douglas MacGregor for Secretary of State/Defense and Judge Nap as Attorney General.

Out of the list you posted I like Haley. She's an RLC member and has been pretty good in SC from what I have read.

Unfortunately, Jim DeMint is the only VP candidate that will sway delegates towards Dr. Paul and away from Romney.

My bet is on Nikki Haley as Romney's pick if it comes to that. The neo-conservatives are pushing Rubio as hard as they can, but they are not friends of Romney. They got to choose McCain's running mate last time. Highly unlikely Romney gives their opinion any weight, more likely that he would do the opposite. I will be proven wrong if Rubio or Pawlenty are chosen by Romney.

Andrew Napolitano, Former New Jersey Superior Court Judge
Rand Paul, Senator Kentucky
Jim DeMint, Senator South Carolina
Gary Johnson, Governor of New Mexico

Would most of you still agree these are the top 4 for RP?

no.

Rand, okay.

My favorite choice would be the Judge.

Everyone else that you listed, no.
