Comedian Doug Stanhope on John Stossel!

Just watched it. It was pretty good. I like how doug tends to argue from the principle of self-ownership, when constructing his arguments.

It gotta little awkward towards the end, only because Doug seemed to feel some kind of obligation to be constantly funny, when he didn't really need to be. He's obviously not used to his jokes and ideas being taken so seriously, haha. He did well though.

Props to Stossel for having him on!

Doug is funny. I like how he brought up that Libertarian has Liberal in the title. I have told so many people that I consider myself to be a Libertarian and then find out minutes into the conversation they thought that meant I was a modern day Liberal.

I thought it was a very awkward interview...but Stossel has a goofy way of interviewing. He always tries to play devil's advocate and it was almost like Stanhope didn't realize it.

hah yeah

I thought it was odd that he was sober.

and I think that's why the interview was awkward. You looked at Doug and thought, "hmm...he seems really sober which is not normal..."
