Tomorrow (Sunday 2/10), Ron Paul's Congressional campaign is holding a rally in Lake Jackson, Texas.

If you are the kind to drop all for liberty, GET THERE. Oklahoma and Louisiana, I'm looking at you, but everyone should come.

Regardless of what you thought of the email last night and what's going on now, you need to be there. Come if you're discouraged, and just try to stay discouraged in the middle of thousands of Paul supporters. Come if you're optimistic, and help encourage those that aren't. Come if you recognize why Ron wants to smack down the neocon threat in the 14th this month before it takes root, and want to show that campaign the tiger they have grabbed by the tail.

If nothing else, come and show Ron Paul that Texas is home, we have his back here, and we appreciate the fight he has carried on so many years. Come help give him the hero's welcome he so deserves. McCain's CPAC speech cleary gave him the fire to not back down -- now give him the support to press forward for this nomination.

Sunday, February 10th, 2p - 5p, Lake Jackson Civic Center, Reception for Chris Peden

Funny this thread should pop up...I'm driving to Texas as I type this! (well, stopping on my way).

I'm going to be campaigning in Ft. Worth though. After doing so in NH and NV, I decided to go to TX instead of going back to OR. I've haphazardly set up a chip-in for gas money since I'm bleeding red severely (yay Super8 wifi, though I'm sleeping in my truck tonight):

Gas is a little cheaper, but the drive was a lot longer :(

Isn't Chris Peden having one at the same time in the same place? Maybe he'll give up after he sees what's up :D

Chris Peden was there, in a different room down the hall. From what Isaw he seemed to have about 20 people or less.

We had so any people there that half of the people weren't allowed inside due to the fire code. He spoke inside, and then outside again.
