4th, Ron Paul virtually a no name candidate who wants to radically change the way we think about politics and policy to make that much of an impact seems very significant this early in the primaries.

Above 2 internationally known NeoCons.

I like it. Not sure how that plays into the typical political punditry game, but I like it.

bumpin

I also think it shows we are doing well and as a whole defiantly still in it!

we still need more than 2x the amount of votes we have to get to 3rd and given that these are only the first two states, we do have a chance. However, i honestly can't bring myself to believe that in NH of all places we couldn't get more votes than we did so we'll have to wait and see... I don't like the trend (if you can call it that this early on)

Here are some numbers that support what I have been saying--this G.O.P. race for the nomination is wide, wide open! Here we are thumping both the presumed front-runner just two short months ago and the alleged "savior" and "new Reagan".

We need to push states' rights so people can see that the biggest changes will not be the complete removal of many major functions of modern government, but merely the shift away from the crooked monolith in Washington to the states, a simplification of the money policy ("In 1795 a dollar would buy at least ten loaves of bread, in 1935 it still would, today it won't buy one--today's dollar isn't worth a dime!"), and a gripping explanation of why we need a foreign policy that reflects the values and morals of our nation's citizens.

On that last note, remember that the short list of dictators the U.S. has propped up includes the Marcoses, the Shah of Iran, bin Ladens, "Papa" Doc Devalier, Idi Amin "Dada" and Saddam Hussein.

Simplify the message and make it visceral. Don't preach, don't get long-winded. The thirty second sound bite is powerful. Like a defibrillator, it's quick and powerful and jump-starts a necessary process. Be respectful to your audience and try not to lose their attention.

In a sense, we have to spin Dr. Paul into the mainstream. You know it's possible. When you talk to your friends, or to strangers, please keep these things in mind.

Funny how those top candidates focus around creating a "safe feeling" for their voters. Funny how Paul is painted as someone who does the opposite and how bad the american people are at smelling when something is fishy.
