Why does it matter what people spend EBT on. If they manage their EBT appropriately, for example buying ramen in bulk to feed their 7 kids, why shouldn't they be able to spend the excess money on beer and strippers?

I think EBT cards are used for much more than just foodstamps/SNP stuff. IIRC It is also can be where your money is deposited for SSI, welfare, etc. So it makes sense you can withdraw that kind of cash using it.

In AZ, SSI is normally wired directly to a person's bank/checking account. IDK about the rest of the soyuz.
