Franklin Pierce college in Rindge County has yet to report as well. Cnn says that something like 3000 independent votes are at stake there. 7000 independent votes in Hanover county (Dartmouth) and thousands more in Durham (UNH). We need to beat Gouhliani and it can happen if the college town deliver a good chunk of the independent vote.

If there's no one watching the preincts do hand counts, it doesn't matter.

Hopefully that is what is causing the delay.... and not folks getting ready to tweak the code as the handcounts come in

That might explain where the independents of New Hampshire went today.

Rindge was better, only a 3 to 1 loss against Obama. But the volumes of votes on the GOP side are way too small to matter any more.

Yeah! Doesn't the doctor know that the inflation will steal it if he doesn't spend it as fast as he can?


I'm still hopeful. IA and NH are extreme states in that they are overly campaigned. And the winners are shifting, and will certainly shift again in the next state. The GOP is in disarray.

And anyway, even if Ron got to third place, MSM would hardly even mention it. For them it's all about McCain and the Democrats anyway. On a national scale, IA and NH are unimprotant. It's the states before super Tuesday we need to care about now. And there is much less campaign competition there (I think!)
