We (Colorado) beat Nebraska last week (they had their game the week before cancelled due to bad weather). Troy beat them today. They have a new coach and a true freshman at QB who was hurt late in the game against us and a freshman walk-on started today. They can still make things interesting- they are otherwise pretty good. This was our first meeting since we both left the Big 12.

Texas has scored the last 34 points in the game after trailing 14-3. TCU was up 21-13 vs Ohio State but OSU moving out ahead farther now- 40-28 in the fourth.

Some of these teams are just machines (with tons of money to keep them running!) We should have an excellent shot at the Pac12 South this year (looking kinda weak this year). Coming up we have UCLA, ASU (playing San Diego State right now) and USC. Us, ASU, and Utah (Playing Washington at the moment- down 14-7 at the half) the only unbeaten in the division after just three games. After tonight, the others will all have at least two losses.

Utah went for it and failed on fourth down twice in the fourth , had they taken the FG's they could have cut it to a one possession game with 6:00 to go . So ....... with 1.30 to go they would have been on the washington 22 yard line looking to tie . Sometimes you have to take the points .

Crazy ending in the Aztecs/ ASU game. Aztecs get a touchdown and go for two point conversion to go up 28- 14 with just over four minutes left. ASU scoreless in the half. ASU marches down the field gets a TD- down by seven. Aztecs can probably run out the clock- only 1:40 remain. Couple plays and they get a long run down to the ASU 23 yardline where they fumble. ASU recovers with about 45 seconds. Two quick plays and they are up to midfield where they stall. Fourth and ten. Fourteen seconds left. Incomplete pass. Game over? No. 15 yard penalty on San Diego puts the ball on their 35 yardline. Six seconds. But that was where it did end. Another incomplete. So close!

Fans will be screaming for somebody's head. They don't like to lose. Not much else to do in Nebraska. On game day, the stadium becomes the third largest city in the state. (Today they lost to Michigan)

New coach has been honest , told fans it will get worse until it gets better . Freshman QB in the Big Ten , that does seem logical . Not that I wanted michigan to win .
