Even after repeat incidences I never hear such conversations taking place: At what point is somebody within their right to be armed (2nd Amend) and defend and protect their life against a crazed murdering cop? It always comes down to "disarm the person, re-train the LEO".

I understand that there are evil people in this world and there are methods to deal with that. But a person sitting alone in a car, not causing harm or damage to person or property, and a band of thugs show up to escalate and kill.
