Where the HELL is Mike HUCKABEE getting all the MONEY to ADVERTISE on NATIONAL CHANNELS? It's his: "EVIL IRS" and lets ABOLISH it, and KEEP your money in your POCKET commercial... VERY EFFECTIVE

I'm seeing more of HUCKLEBERRY's advertisements than MITT, McCain combined now.

I have NEVER seen a RON PAUL Nationally Televised commercial/Ad, WTF?

Today During the SITUATION ROOM and CNN's LOU DOBBS Tonight show...

WOW... 3 MIKE HUCKLEBERRY NATIONALLY TELEVISED anti-IRS Prsidential commercials today!

This morning while I was bagging papers to be delivered I saw a mini "headline" in the Wall Street Journal about Huckabee. I can't recall the exact wording but it said something about secretive big dollar donors, if I recall correctly. Let me see if I can find it online.

Could anybody explain to me why people relate other candidates' campaigns to the IRS? I mean what does it mean that a candidate is benifiting from the IRS to fund his campaign? I just do not get it yet.

He was saying that Huckabee's anti-IRS commercials convinced people to start donating to him. I'm not sure how true that is or not, though...

Thanks man!
I remember somebody said before that McCain's campaign benifits from tax payers' money. But I did not get a chance to ask, how?
Sorry, I might be confused or misunderstood.

Regarding the IRS and Huck, I think he got a very good chance explaining his position on the MTV "Myspace" debate. And the people really responded very well to his answer on the charts. And although the MTV debate was one of the best times of Ron Paul but regarding the income tax he did not get a chance to explain clearly his intentions to end it and replace it with nothing

That is rather funny that Upchuckabee has the money to get much air time at all. According to http://www.mikehuckabeeforum.com/ he doesn't have a support forum anymore (not that he would be paying for it anyway).
Incidentally, the only other Republican candidate that has a REAL forum is Mutt Romney (Topix doesn't count:)).

Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul decided not to take matching funds

Thanks man!

MATCH Campaign CONTRIBUTIONS!

Public financing of campaigns

At the federal level, public funding is limited to subsidies for presidential candidates. To receive subsidies in the primary, candidates must qualify by privately raising $5000 each in at least 20 states. For qualified candidates, the government provides a dollar for dollar "match" from the government for each contribution to the campaign, up to a limit of $250 per contribution. In return, the candidate agrees to limit his spending according to a statutory formula.

From the inception of this program in 1976 through 1992, In 2008, Democrats Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama, and Republicans Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have decided not to take matching funds.

Public financing is available for Democratic or Republican candidates for President of the United States during the election campaigns during both the primaries and the general election. Eligibility requirements must be fulfilled in order to qualify for public funding and those that do accept public funding are subject to spending limits.

MIKE HUCKABEE is TAKING MATCHING FUNDS!!! HUCKABEE IS A PANDERING HYPOCRITE taking money from the US government yet touts budget responsibility spending limits... WTF?!

Thanks!
Never heard about this before!
It is legal though unless if it is like the IRS :D
But how good or bad is it to accept public funding and become subject to spending limits?

I think this may have been what I saw. I'll have to look while I am in the warehouse in the morning to see if there is an extra copy.

Here's a piece of the article. It's pretty long. can be found here

Overall, independent political organizations -- drawing funding from wealthy individuals, labor unions, corporations and other interest groups -- are expected to spend $18 million on election communications by Super Tuesday, compared with $1 million in the entire 2000 primary season. These groups' influence has surged since campaign-finance reforms limited donations to political parties in 2002, and they could help determine the winners of tomorrow's primaries and the November elections.

As a subset of that effort, groups such as Mr. Davis's are beginning to emerge as an especially opaque force on both sides of the aisle. The big fund-raiser Club for Growth plans to use the obscure exemption to advocate for fiscally conservative candidates, while a West Coast backer of Sen. Barack Obama who claims the exemption is doing a $4 million vote-getting effort for Super Tuesday over the Obama campaign's objections.
