CNN says Democrats sabotaging" Republicans in Michigan by voting Ron Paul!?

It's up to us (especially those of us who blog or whatever) to take this smear and present it as what it is: EVIDENCE OF GENERAL ELECTION VIABILITY.

Fox had about the same report, only that they added that a good ron paul showing might propel him to run third party (??)

Of course, that makes perfect sence. The better you do in the republican primary, the more likely you are to leave the republican nomination race and try somewhere else.

Now why the hell are you watching fox news??

I've been watching the Situation room for an hour now and didn't notice this piece. Perhaps I missed it.

Yeah a lot of liber sites have been pushing people in michigan to vote for Romney, but I wonder if Romney wins if they will say it was just a bunch of Dems voting for him. It's a sure bet if Paul does well there, they will.

I just caught a quick segment on CNN. They introduced the segment by saying that Democrats are voting Ron Paul to sabotage the Republicans. They then followed one person around with a camera while he got his republican ballot and voted Ron Paul, he then explained what he was doing.. that he was a Democrat but voting Ron Paul since the dems get 0 delegates for Michigan.

The reason I posted this is because I am astonished that they would say that voting for Ron Paul is sabotage. WTH?? SABOTAGE???

Well, it's Democrat's voting in the Republican Primary.. so I can see where they are coming from... would be the same if REpublicans crossed the isle to vote for Kucinich.

NO matter a GOOD FINISH brings that SPARK we need right now to re-ignite the RON PAUL REVOLUTION!!

This could be it! Regardless of what they say we know what the truth is RON PAUL is liked by all parties!

I feel really stupid, i saw that segment on FOX (no surprise of course) on Cavuto's program right before the Marine speech. Sorry if you saw how I have my TV 's set up you might forgive me for reporting CNN. Wish I could edit the title.

FOX labelled Ron Paul crossover voting as Sabotage, not CNN.

still despicable, though

/embarrassed and editing original post

Hey, I don't care WHY democrats vote for Paul as long as the do! Let the MSM have their fun. In a way this shows that Ron Paul is the BEST possible republican candidate because he appeals to democrats.

`He appeals to ALL PARTIES !! that is the message and always has been the message this proves iT!

Does anybody know of any Obama/Clinton/Edwards forums? We can let them know about CNN's brilliant idea over there.

FOX made this report - NOT CNN. I'm repeating my correction because I made the boneheaded report and was incorrect, and feel responsible.

I do apologize for the mistake, it was FOX NEWS, not CNN (so sorry, mistakes on forums are embarrassing)

So let the rumors be correct ;) it was on Cavuto

Yes, it keeps all the Repubs in the race, having to spend more and more money, even keeps Paul in the race--that is good, naturally. they are also angry that their vote does not count, angry with Michigan spending all this money on a race that robs them of their vote. etc.

Well, it's Democrat's voting in the Republican Primary.. so I can see where they are coming from... would be the same if REpublicans crossed the isle to vote for Kucinich.

Say if Republicans crossed over and voted for Hillary Clinton? Or what about Republicans in Iowa voting for Barak Obama? (That actually happened quite a bit.) The problem with the "sabatoge" analysis is that it ignores the fact that Ron Paul's positions actually appeal to democrats just like Hillary appeals to republicans. (She's basically a female version of Rudy Giuliani. Pro abortion and pro war.)

Can you edit the thread title or is it too late? Don't want to give CNN a bad name or needless negative email.

Oh no! A person who can represent all American and not just 1/3 of them, we can't have that going on in this election... :sarcasm:

update -- they are still calling Dem crossover's in Michigan "Mischief Makers"

They kicked it off, though, in that segment and targeted Ron Paul voters
