CNN: Ron Paul Will Spend Bulk of TeaParty Dough in NY, FL, CA

Well, it looks to me like NH is a waste. RP not even showing in any polls, and his rating while talking was going down into the 30's (the graph ticker thing). All the signs I see do not bode well. I hope I am wrong.

What ticker are you talking about? For those little focus groups, they usually have people who are not undecided, but actually supporters of other candidates, not to mention neocons. The lower the better, in those particular cases.

Might get him some new voters that are already republicans - but there are so few it wouldn't be worth it.

So, you're saying none of the Republicans should be trying to win the New York Republican primary?

Guess they should hand it over to the Green party...

Those folks using that meter were selected by frank luntz, just keep that in mind.

Exactly.

Florida could be a big surprise. First and foremost to the RP National campaign. Granted they are just now STARTING to throw us a bone or two. Opened one or two offices hired one or two new people. That's it. Personally, I think they should spread the money bomb money around.

But no matter. We will win this campaign IF everyone does all they can. Not just in money but also in time. Canvass, leaflet and work smart. This is get out the vote time.

We have a great candidate who is the voice of the people. Let's start acting like it. I'm getting boulder and more confident by the day. I own my precinct and when I see people I just tell them 'Have you heard about Ron Paul?' More and more I'm hearing YES! Then I give them a liberty card or slim jim.

Sorry, I guess I'm getting a little carried away!

NY though... it's a CLOSED primary state, and the deadline to register has PASSED. So for that reason alone I'm not sure it should be an advertising target.

Florida and California are closed primary states as well. The Party Change Deadline is on December 31st  and January 21st, respectively. If we want to succeed in these states, we need to persuade as many Independents, Libertarians, and Democrats to register Republican before the deadline.

I can't wait to start seeing some advertising here in NY. Sure NY is a closed primary state, that's why the advertising is necessary. Those that are already Republicans need to learn more about Dr. Paul. A Republican certainly can win NY. Ronald Reagan did it in 1980 and 1984.

There are 87 delegates on the line in the NY primary, winner take all.
