Cnn: Ron Paul Interview On American Morning 11/06/08

thank you for posting that utube. I love this man. and was also happy to hear that some paul candidates did win their spots. :)

keep plugging guys. fight the NWO.

I wonder why Ron Paul is getting so much more time and respect from the media. Why the change so suddenly.

Another great interview. Dr. Paul as usual, telling it like it is.
:D

John Roberts always lately seems to do fairly respectful interviews.

Interesting, but completely expected, that the GOP did not invite Dr. Paul to the Pow-Wow in the Va. mountains. :)

This is no surprise to me - none at all. Its how things work in the real world for those of us who do not see a conspiracy around every corner. The people who get good ongoing coverage are ones that worked their way up to it. Prior to last year, Paul was just one of 400 plus no name Congressmen to the media. Sure, when he came on the scene we thought he deserved non stop attention but media coverage doesn't work that way for people who are going to get normal coverage going forward.

Now it does work that way for the flash in the pan stuff, the people getting their 15 minutes of fame - Joe the plumber comes to mind. But that kind of stuff goes away as fast as it gets here.

If you think about it, its similar to "good will" with a retail business. The type of good will that is built up slowly, is more loyal and will keep you going through slow times.

That was prettty greatness :)

So 7 got elected!?! :o Didn't know that...

Who?

Well, he's been on Alex Jones for years, so I guess the MSM is just a little behind the curve on their "good will".

Money mattered is what we thought, so we gave Ron Paul all the money we could, we thought the media would listen. Ron Paul broke fundraising records on two occasions, he raised more than any other candidate in the 4th Quarter - but got shutout from the Fox debate before New Hampshire?!?

You're fken clueless mate. Money didn't matter. Beign a member of the status quo - and a pro establishment candidate is the ONLY thing that mattered. WAKE THE F--- up.

This is a bit of what I posted ages ago; "How to answer an anti-Ron Paul person, who asked 'How is the msm biased against Ron Paul?"

- Who is currently the Republican front runner with most money raised in the 4th quarter?
Before you answer: do you think, that its news worthy?
Ron Paul is. He's raised $35 million.

- Who has won the most straw polls nationwide?
Before you answer: do you think, that its news worthy?
Ron Paul has. He beats practically every single other candidate on a one vs one basis.

- Who has the most meetup members?

Before you answer: do you think, that its news worthy?
Ron Paul does. He has: 110,702 Members in 1,728 Meetup Groups, 10,381 waiting for a Meetup Group.

- Who has raised the MOST money on a SINGLE day, in American political campaign history?

Before you answer: do you think, that its news worthy?
Ron Paul has. He raised $4.3 million on one day, and then smashed his own record to make $6.4million on another.

- Who has the most support from the Army, Navy & Airforce; for both Democrats & Republicans?
Before you answer: do you think, that its news worthy?
Ron Paul does. He owns McCain who is a very distant second.

- Now with all these media worthiness, how come you never see it on the Mainstream Media? Let alone, hear about Ron Paul?

Sorry, what were you saying? He's getting coverage now, because he's not as big a threat. He ain't running for office.

Here's some more REAL world for ya. ;)

Which brings us back to the question of why RP is getting so much friendly coverage these days.

Really, I am not altogether pleased by it, but the coverage is mostly restricted to a few people who seem to genuinely like him, so perhaps it is benign. A relaxed grip of the iron hand, so to speak.

This was a wonderful interview. I do wish Obama the best, and that he governs from the center, but honestly, i'm getting annoyed with the blind hero worship of Obama. Go Ron Paul!

So you still think only "wackos" believe in media conspiracies eh?..

RP gets more coverage now because he's no longer a threat and he makes interesting conversation.

Do you seriously believe that if RP ran again in 4 years...that the media would not go back to ignoring and/or smearing him????

The video is no longer available. That's odd...I don't recall CNN ever caring about their clips being on Youtube.

CNN John Roberts: SECRET GOP meeting going on right now at the SECRET New-Clear Fallout site in the northwestern Virginia.

So at least the GOP is making use of the doomsday retreat... How appropriate/ironic - DOOMSDAY & RETREAT, lol.

Ron Paul: ...Oh they didn't invite me, I could of had some suggestions.

the congessional GOP leadership... FOOLS, ALL FOOLS!

You still don't see him on Fox too much.

Lots of CNN though. CNN pretty much has all the media people I care a smidge about (dobbs, beck for the time being, american morning is at least somewhat unbiased most of the time, same for Blitzer he at least allows people to talk and finish sentences, ect).

Every time I see Paul in an interview like that it gives me some hope. But I'm still floored that a meeting is taking place regarding building a grassroots movement for the GOP and Ron Paul is not invited. There really is nobody else with such strong grassroots support. If not the man himself, the ideas he talks about are the right place to start a grassroots movement, one build around freedom and sensible foreign policy.

Until then, the GOP will remain weak (as they should).

We shall see with BECK over on FOX. Let's see how many mentions and invites Ron Paul gets, now that NEOCON TV controls their Bobbleheads.
