Wolf Blitzer just was talking about Ron Paul and the last debate. They are saying that tonight he will stand his ground and the other candidates will probaly be gunning for him. They discussed him for a few minutes.

it's heating up !! tonight is OUR night to shine !!

I just missed it, I guess. I just flipped over and they were talking about Rudy but on the bottom of the screen it said "who will breakout" or something...

One of the guys, used to be on Crossfire I think his first name is Paul, just mentioned that Ron Paul was actually right in the last debate.

Yup I heard it, the one strategist basically said Paul was a nonfactor that had no chance besides giving the top tier some points to score off of. The other one pointed out that the facts and former CIA agents back what Paul says.

I was just posting the same thing a sec ago:eek: But did you hear him say Rudy won the last debate

I can't take this much longer.

I get sooooo nervous before every appearance!

There are many things Ron Paul could say that would easily deflect any attack.

He could simply ask any other candidate if they believe in the Constitution of the United States of America, and just wait.

Most of those guys will be caught like a deer in the headlights by that question, because they know their records with regard to backing the Constitution would look like crap compared to Dr. Paul's.

I bet Mitt gets the first question on immigration When Ron has the best plan on immigration even better than Tancredo

How can any news station say anything about John McCain when anyone can listen to the guy talk and tell he belongs in a straight jacket

RP has been preaching the message for umpteen years; this will be a slam dunk just like it always is. He's already won!

Hubby is taking the computer, so I won't be commenting for a while.

GO RON GO!!!!

:D

I always get nervous about gaffes. I know that Ron will never let us down, but still..

I like CNN's approach to this debate. They're really integrating the internet big time into it, very smart and a great benefit for Ron Paul. With all these different "pipes" going in real time, it will add a variety of perspectives.

Also, I'm watching the special coverage, and someone submitted a question to "Your Voice" that was read aloud asking Ron Paul if he would pull out the troops in Iraq and put them on the U.S. border. Even if the question is fluff, it still puts Ron's name out there.

Debate starts in 30 minutes.

I recently disconnected my cable in disgust over the mainstream media...I just hope there's gonna be some play-by-play for poor saps like myself who didn't realize at the time that this gem of a man named Ron Paul would burst onto the scenes:(

I will be on this forum most likely in addition to "live blogging" it on my site where I hope to be as sarcastic and smarmy as possible :)

New user here, btw. Hi!
