I'm not White and Ron Paul is the first Republican that I've ever supported. And while I would support Ron Paul if he didn't have the support of a lot of other minorities, it is nice to go to a rally and see that I'm not the token minority there.
His message is the inclusive message that brings people together. If the Republican party wants to win big again, then they need to adapt their platform to a Constitutional one. Let the Democrats be the war party.
The Democrats have ALWAYS been the war party. They are the original one world government party with their League of Nations and their United Nations. Conspiracy? I guess so especiially when I read Robert Muller's opening address to the UN in 1945 where he was not only overt and candid about the intentions of the UN but he was proud that they were started to some day become a one world government. Old style conservatives opposed policing the world and they opposed the federall reserve.
Democrats were the party in power during the Indian War and it was Jackson who sent the Cherokee on the Trail of Tears. Half the Civil War and they were on the side that wanted to keep slavery in place. the Spanish-American War, Bolivia, WWI, WWII, (it was a Dem who was the first and only to nuke civilian populations in two different cities whether you agree or disagree). Korea, our first undeclared war, against an enemy that never attacked us or threatened us and where there was no legitimate value relative to our national security or protection of our borders, our freedom or our Constitution. Truman used our new treaty with the UN as his authority when the old style conservatives opposed the war. 35,000 died and we never left. Vietnam. Our second war against an enemy that never attacked us or threatened us and without a declaration of war. Then, Bosnia, Somalia, Serbia, Kosovo, Columbia (you need to google U'Wa Tribe and Fusarin in Columbia). They kept us in Iraq for 8 yrs and bombed them over 400 times killing over 1,000. Then they killed another 500,000 with the sanctions. Youtube Albright Says It Was Worth It. Oh wait. I hate my country if I even mention that in a negative way. Forgot. Could you imagine some other country coming here and imposing sanctions or some other activity that caused the deaths of 500,000 Americans and among them your daughter or your wife or your son or your mother? That doesn't een account for the differences in population between the US and Iraq. It would probably be more like 2 million This country would form a 20,000,000 strong posse within three hours. Defending this country has no party or division. The government doesn't need to convince us that we have a right to defend this country when we''re attacked or threatened. Men,, women and children would join the fight if we had to. But they needed to use propaganda and convincing and prodding to get us to go along with our sons in body bags and without their legs so that Iraqi's can vote. Even though they convinced a lot, they didn't convince all. A war of self protection would pull us together as a nation. One blink of an eye memory of 9-12-01 when we broke down just about every thing that had been dividing us. We were together like no time in our history since the Revolution. We weren't blacks or whites or Democrat or Republican. Left and right lines disappeared. No one cared whether liberal or conservative. Then came news that we were going after bin Laden in Afghanistan and pretty much all of us were ready. But then came Iraq and we started to eat each other. We heard on our news every night what a noble cause it was yet we were still divided and eating each other. It's like that in every undeclared, innecessary, unconstitutional war and the Democrats were the original unconstitutional unnecessary war crowd. More Americans have died when Democrats were in power than a 1,000 cans of spray on Ebola could kill. This argument should win over rationally thinking Democrats and Republicans. Not that they would embrace each other's idealogies but they would hopefully realize how badly they have both been hoodwinked and then they can view the results of that policy as the evil that it is. How unAmerican it is. How much freedom we've lost. How much lower our standard of living is and to what level we have been plundered as the value of our dollar drops and how much it has cost us in blood. Now compare it to the alternative. That we minded our own business. They we engaged in negotiations and free trade and that we ensured that with a strong national defense. That the worst thing other countries could do to themselves is to stop trading with us or attempt to attack us for they would lose. If China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and all their friends tried to attack this country they would fail. First they would have to deal with our nukes. Then they would have to deal with our missile defense system. Then they would have to cross an ocean, get past our airforce, navy, marines, and army and then have to face 200,000,000 amnericans who are defending their families.
That is what our founding fathers designed. Meddling and intervention is what the progressive Democrats and Republiicans wanted instead. The old style conservativs opposed all that but the new style conservatives embrace it just like the Democrats who invented it. Ron Paul is an old style conservative. A real Republican. I mirror image to our founding fathers with regard to foreign policy.
