CNN Pie Chart, No mention of Ron Paul on CNN or Fox

I feel like I am watching state run media. Ron Paul was completely ignored by all the pundits and his share of votes on the Pie Chart was blanked out.

Why?

The media will NOT give Ron Paul any type of name recognition. Who will know that Ron Paul got a solid 10% of the Caucus? Do you think casual voters will look closely at how decent of a showing Dr Paul had in Iowa? When they watch the coverage on CNN and FOX, theirs minds are pounded with the names of Huckabee, McCain, Romney, and Thompson...pounded to the point they feel comfortable with them. The amazing thing is how blatant CNN and FOX actions are.

Our mainstream media isn't liberal or conservative...it is an anti-american entity determined to destroy the liberty loving free spirit that is America. I am saddened and angered...but determined to support Ron Paul...win or lose. Live free or Die.

Wolf Blitzer did mention Ron Paul, though only briefly. He mentioned that Paul put up some good numbers, or something to that effect.

But I generally agree - don't bother with them any more than you have to. It sucks that we have to fight an uphill struggle like this, but that's how it goes. Movements do not erupt overnight. It takes time and persistance. Don't get down!

He stated that at 1059 PM. One sentence...he ran through the numbers all night and not once mentioned Ron Paul. How ridiculous was his description of the PIE chart with that missing piece...

At one point CNN had Ron Paul at 10% and Giuliani at 11%. However it was corrected. How could that happen? This does not pass the smell test.

We have to be more determined and work harder to get Ron Paul elected. One positive, Paul's numbers are going up while many others are coming down. I hope and pray the Ron Paul campaign will ask for Federal Matching Funds so that the campaign can compete with the millions of dollars worth of advertising the MSM is giving to the other candidates.

If Ron takes the Federal matching funds, it will be the end of his campaign. The mainstream media will skewer him for taking taxpayer money, but everyone else who takes it won't get mentioned, of course.

And they're not skewering him now? I really don't see too many other ways that the MSM could try to torpedo Paul's campaign that they're not already doing. Its like saying, "If you do what we want, we'll still hate fear and ignore you. But if you don't do what we want, we'll really REALLY hate fear and ignore you."

The CNN pie chart was laughable.

Faux News also conveniently would only show the top 4 candidates. Same with MSNBC.

Darn you MSM!

Just Say "No" to corporate media

It's time for everyone to boycott corporate media. We have the internet, we don't need those puppets.

Seriously, get rid of cable. Boycott anyone who sponsors FoxNews, MSNBC, or CNN.

When you are in public and someone says, "I saw it on CNN" respond politely with something like "Yeah, but that's pretty much like getting it from the National Enquirer." It's time to let everyone in your circle of influence know that you and a lot of other people think that the corporate media is a joke.

Watching CNN/FoxNews/MSNBC should carry the same embarrassment that watching porn does.

I sent them some feedback, asking why Rudy's 3% wasn't newsworthy, when Richardson's 2% was. Doesn't Rudy have a lot more supporters than Richardson? I also told them there was a big gray empty section in their pie chart that looked ridiculous.

This is an excellent suggestion. They are increasingly irrelevant. Why support them? Every dollar you give to them is being used against you. It is like paying a sadist to whip you and then complaining about it. Set yourself free. Delete them from your lives.

I still say we give CNN a chance. I've seen many news stories on Ron Paul from CNN and Wolf Blitzer treats him pretty fairly. Let's be patient. Fox is a definate no-no. I stopped watching them a loooooooong time ago.

Hmmm take this footage of RP aired 1/6/08 on CNN for example. I think it's great and shows the personable side of Ron Paul. check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsA0reahQAc

bump. CNN needs to hear from everyone concerned about this horrible reporting!

The CNN pie chart pissed me off so bad so I posted about it on my blog, which is NOT a political blog but a tv and entertainment fool around thing.

That's funny, actually. I was equally infuriated last night and registered an account here to report my dismay, but didn't because of the lame account confirmation process on these forums. Instead, I blogged about it. Here's my screenshot:

When taken, Paul and Giuliani both had 9%, yet Paul was not labeled. Crying over spilt milk? Maybe. But there's been an awful lot of spilt milk going on.

I was so mad about CNN not giving Ron Paul his slice that I told my fiance to go up to the TV with a marker and write it in lol anmd she just looked at me like "what is wrong with you" btu she is an Obama supporter so things are tense lately and I let it go. Still it's not right, he earned that slice with 9% of the vote and they should have given it to him.

The sad thing is that Dr. Paul is a very great and kind man, and when he is elected presdient, even tho the American people and the media refused to give him his slice, he will still give them their piece of the pie because they are American peple and Dr Paul knows that. They treat him like dirt and he will treat them like equals and that give sme hope for America again! All the dirty and underhanded tricks wont stop Ron Paul from getting thru to the American people and we will all see that! come Super Tuesday I know that Ron Paul is going to turn some heads and then CNN will give him the whole darn pie!

That's a nice picture. Better than the one I snapped. But mine was snapped after several beers. :)
