Major hit piece by Wolf...

Edit: Wolf interviewed Newt, and got Newt to go off on Ron, mostly about the Newsletters. Newt repeated all of the lies that have been fully debunked. Newt is little behind the news cycle. Wolf then used the Newt attack clip with Frum and some other guy, and they piled on with all of the lies.

Edit 2:

Somehow Wolf missed this "breaking news" from a source that they have been using for some of their smears:

Dondero:

Is Ron Paul a “racist.” In short, No. I worked for the man for 12 years, pretty consistently. I never heard a racist word expressed towards Blacks or Jews come out of his mouth. Not once.
...
Is Ron Paul an Anti-Semite? Absolutely No. As a Jew, (half on my mother’s side), I can categorically say that I never heard anything out of his mouth, in hundreds of speeches I listened too over the years, or in my personal presence that could be called, “Anti-Semite.” No slurs. No derogatory remarks.

I should say, let us know what was said.

There will be tubez from Newt and Wolf, and it will not be pretty. The follow-up attack with Frum was even uglier. These people are slime.

So ,what is it?
" Ron Paul said in his newsletters that he would divorce his cancer ridden wife because she is not pretty and presidential enough and is a compulsively promiscous and cheating man who changes stand on every issue"..or something?

Blitzer got Gimgrich to say he would not vote for Ron if he were the nominee. Blitzer now talking up that statement with other correspondents. Seems like he is delighting in a Republican implosion.

It's pretty clear now that what CNN is doing is giving Newt free campaign airtime, and backing that up by repeating and enhancing it. This is a last minute establishment push for Newt, and a hit on his primary competitors, Ron and Mitt.

The Republican Establishment (re: Newt, Romney) would rather see Obama win another term
than Ron Paul as President.

Then they aren't truly conservative (not that we needed to see their vote to know that).

They just replayed the entire Newt/Wolf smear. The anchor just congratulated Wolf on a job well done.
