I really think Perry WILL endorse Paul. This is a guy that has to go back to Texas to be governor when he finishes this. It won't be pretty for him if he doesn't and I think he probably understands that.
Maybe Newt is the one that needs to drop out, what has he done that makes him think he is a viable candidate? At least Santorum finished a close 2nd (possibly 1st) in Iowa.
Newton Leroy is not electable. Latest poll has him losing to Barack 52 to 43. Spread wide that Newt is unelectable while Paul ties Barack with the same set of people.
Newt suffers from narcissistic personality disorder... What nerve to ask Santorum to leave the race, when Frothy came in second in iowa (possibly first), and Gingrich hasn't placed yet. Shouldn't it be Gingrich that exists the race?
I agree, 3rd would be okay as we knew that the next two contests weren't going to be our favorites. 2nd to Romney would be like a win long term, because it follows up the momentum on NH as the anti-Romney candidate, but I think 2nd would be really tough. 4th would be a downer, not only for SC but for FL as well. If we can't beat a minor-leaguer like Santorum, I'll get worried.
