Update: I've calmed down and now realize that this isn't a good idea - next time I get frustrated I'll just go and digg all new Ron Paul stories instead. ;-)

Let's see, we have

- Giuliani-Faux News
- CNN (Clinton News Network) with rigged debates
- another rigged CNN debate
- MSNBC Chris Mathews Giuliani-Power-Rankings who would rather show his penis in public than to mention Ron Paul's name
- CNN Terror-Glen Beck
- All those BS polls that are BS for sure
- The general Ron Paul marginalisation and unfair treatment of the whole Ron Paul movement
- Ron Paul ignored
- The media telling us who's a legitimate candidate and who isn't.

etc. etc.
(please list the other things that come to your mind below)

How about showing them, that enough is enough and that they should start acting like real journalists instead of being Goebels like propaganda tools?

How about a nationwide tv boycott day? (Hey, you can still watch DVDs and use the Internet instead. :-) ) We could make a pledge site like we do for the money bombs. It doesn't need to be a "Ron Paul event", the supporters of the other "longshot" candidates like Gravel and Kucinich surely feel the same about the MSM.

What do you think of this idea?

Should go to "Ron Paul Grassroots Central" thread. Sorry for posting here.

Yeah, we all cry BS when Ron Paul does badly in a poll, but everyone keeps posting any poll that shows Ron Paul does well, and everyone suddenly says, "Yeah! I KNEW those other polls were BS!"

Oh, the hypocrisy.

Boycott if you want. I believe respectful dialog with the networks is a more effective approach.

Why? Like they care, cut off their sponsors maybe, but this MSM would exist without sponsors just to brainwash the sheeple. It is better to watch what they are doing and how. As we have seen in the past that the local affiliates are more sympathetic and we get better reports. Just like Ron has said if the power is returned to the states (local level) we have more of an influence. So too with media, they do listen better locally than the central controlled national level. You want to show them and kick their butts to the ground then support the TeaParty07.com and raise $100 million and that will only come about by more PR and not boycotting.

........copy,paste,linked to teaparty07.com, last 2, put the sample faces anywhere and men will click on them, or make up your own hooks.

Yup, you hit the nail on the head there.

I guess you are right, I just get so frustrated sometimes when I see all this biased BS.

Well, I think even the new polls where Ron Paul gets 8% are still BS. What the mainstream-media does with those polls is to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. They pick the "frontrunners" very early and marginalize all other candidates. Once you don't get the coverage from the tv stations anymore, it's game-over and you can't improve in the polls. Imagine Ron Paul without the internet: maybe we wouldn't even know about him.

Really? Everyone? I only use straw polls. Considering he's won more of those than anyone else.

>respectful dialog with the networks is a more effective approach.

Good luck with that.

Just remember, boycotting other countries when they don't conform to our will is what the big government clowns do; then they wonder why they are despised. Liberty loving people engage in open dialoge ;)

This idea = dumb

You can't ignore the media, it only hurts us. Explain to me how us ignoring the media would harm any other campaigns in any way?

Boycotting them will make us a non-audience and then they won't ever air anything about our man.
