Telling that this is CNN's focus.
It is in a sense attacking Ron's strength (the troops support Paul, he's the only Veteran left, he has the best plan FOR Veterans, besides he understands Economics better than any of them) and in another sense attacking a weak point of the debate. If you watch that portion, there's a real limbo in the air of how Veterans might interpret what he's saying.
My conclusion: Veteran support of Ron Paul is scary to them indeed. And Ron's debate performance was notable enough to put the spin machines in motion.
