Clueless WA GOP Chariman

The email said a majority, IIRC. The email has been posted somewhere on board.

Actually, his letter seemed very straight foward and well thought out. Where is the clueless part?

The clueless part is announcing a winner when Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee could actually be the winner. It does not matter if it is an all volunteer organization that wants to go to bed. He does not work for the news media, and was under no obligation to exclaim one candidate a winner when he does not know who won. He does work for the Republican Party of WA, and was expected to continue counting results until he is done. Then announce a winner. Hopefully he will be fired at their convention for his incompetence.

Latest results,

Ron Paul could still be the winner, if the last 4% of the precincts are large ones, and every one was for Ron Paul. He should still be counting.

Guys, i'm looking at my "Report of the Washington Republican Community Forum and Precinct Caucus" that was sent to the party showing results. There is no mention of candidate preference on this report; name, address, phone #, and email is it.

This is what was turned into the GOP. At best, the GOP may have been able to cross-reference names on sign-in sheets to formulate their results. Given the time frame and "intellectual capital" employed here, i wouldn't place too much weight on anything reported from Washington.

More accurate reports will be coming following the district and county caucuses that begin on March 1st, though these may be speculative as well. i'll report results from our caucus as soon as i can.
