on Fox News right now.

He respects Ron Paul's libertarian viewpoints, but doesn't think it can happen until "the pendulum swings too far one way or the other".

Also, he liked Ron's ideas of fiscal responsibility, but "McCain is talking about that too".

Doesn't seem like he's endorsing anyone (I missed the 1st half of the interview) but the hope I had put in him for an endorsement of Ron is now gone.

Well that's just dandy, Clint. Why don't use that brain: McCain "talks" about it, but his record proves otherwise!
FFS!

A celebrity mentioned Ron Paul?

-Nah, I'm disappointed in Blondie too. He's a smart guy and ought to act it.

It's funny when RP supporters care about celebrities when it suits them...

Why isn't anyone taking Willie Nelson seriously right now?

I posted a thread on this as well. I transcribed the interview. I think Eastwood is a closet supporter. He got really nervous when Cavuto suggested that his views were in line with RP's. Studdered a lot. Soooo many public figures are fearful of ridicule if they support him. I think HQ should contact him and establish a rapport with him. Maybe have the Good Doctor call him.

Sometimes we need to help people find their courage.

Missed the interview, but going by your post, I'd say....read between the lines.
Don't boot Clint in the bag just yet.

Clint's a Lib, IIRC, and may be simply saying "The American public needs to find themselves
living under a bridge, cold and hungry, before they wake up to Ron Paul's message." ("pendulum swings...")

By inferring "McCain is talking about that too." he draws a somewhat veiled correlation
between the two candidates, if for no other reason, it sways McCain's
weak "fence sitters" who may be there only because they still believe in voting for the
lesser of two evils. (Hildabeast haters)

Unless there were sorted references to Romney and Huckabee, maybe Clint
sees the importance of getting down to a Paul/McCain race for the GOP nomination.
(At least in the voter's eyes)
"And then there were two..............":D:D
Do you know just how easily RP could wipe McCains ass in a one on one debate?

Remember John Kerry and the Swiftboats...........just wait until "Songbird McCain"
starts playing across the net!
"And then there was one.........":eek::cool:

If RP doesn't use it when the time comes, the Dems will.

.

What kind of "pendulum swing" is needed for the sheeple to wake up? Financial desolation and Russian nuclear mushroom clouds on our soil in response to our nuking Iran?

Neil Cavuto was the one that mentioned to him that his ideas sounded like Ron Paul's. Clint did not seem like he wanted to talk about it, I noticed the stuttering too.

Would I be correct in saying Neil has been much more respectable to Paul than anyone else on Fox news? I think he likes Paul's economic stances and he seems to invite him on his show more often.
