I was there but had to leave at 6. Ron Paul supporters were instrumental in keeping the process moving forward and it seemed like it was the GOP establishment that was dragging its feet, perhaps to make the delegate selection fall to the CCRP board at 6pm when the convention closed sine die.

If anything, most Santorum supports were actually good allies in trying to get things done. What went poorly was a excruciating registration process, agonizing seating of alternate delegate process, and a vote that did not start until 4 hours after its scheduled time!

No dilatory motions were filed. No processes were dragged out by RP or Santorum supporters. It was just poorly run, folks, and by the end of it they were looking to us to make it work.

--jrp Delegate from Precinct 505 to the Clark County convention, but not a delegate to the state convention.

Brandon Vick, Clark County GOP Chair, apologises for the convention: http://www.clarkcountygop.org/display_news.htm?nid=997

He goes on to point out "We do not blame any candidate, their delegation or any group of people for the breakdown we witnessed on Saturday. We thought we were prepared, but we were not." That's better than Brent Boger's comment in the previous article.
