Civil Rights Act: Stossel Convincingly Argues For The Libertarian Stance

Amazingly, Levin was also sticking up for Rand's private property stance today on his show.

It comes down to this.

If you want to own a business you MUST have a business license. Licenses are granted by public authorities. Therefore your business becomes public.

End licensing.

Businesses are deemed public because TPTB issue license. There should be no license to operate a business.

When the Civil Rights Act was signed, it didn't change the attitudes of the racists. They were still racist the day after it was signed.

When racism was exposed, when people boycotted the racist businesses, when people marched in the streets, protested, and condemned it in the churches, and confronted the racists, over time that's when the attitudes started changing.

You cannot change attitudes just by passing a law.

After the civil rights movement why does the government promote "black history month"?? And give minorities extra "points" on civil service exams just because they are minority....the hypocrisy is sickening.

There is such a warped double standard it is nauseating.
