While it doesn't "equate" them, it does play upon the (alleged) text and graphic to make an association.

I would not quote that scripture highlighting an image of Trump, Ron, my neighbor Greg, or a Snickers bar... and I love Snickers.

Unless completely fabricated, it's poor taste at best, nearly blasphemous at worst.

All that said, it doesn't reflect upon Trump or anyone outside of those directly responsible.

I guess maybe if I was a complete and total retard, if I drove by the billboard I might think they were trying to equate Trump to Jesus, because the billboard is in the sky, and Jesus is in the sky. That is the sort of retard logic one would have to make to think that they are trying to equate Trump to Jesus.

I thought of the Obama thing myself. And even with Trump I've known a good many Christians throughout my life who very much would see that billboard as equating him with Christ. Reasonable people can interpret the same facts differently, and often do.
