This is a great interview. He is smart as a whip but I had no idea he had that great accent.

Thanks for posting this. I had planned to post it later today, but you beat me to it. Chris is from a neighboring county, and I am working here in Mississippi to help get Chris elected. I, along with my son, am a 4 county coordinator of volunteers, starting at the precinct level, to identity supporters and help to get the vote out. Chris will be hugely outspent and is counting on a bottom up campaign structure.

I was hoping this video would generate some comment. He will be a great ally in opposition to the old guard/establishment Republicans. Although I'm sure he will not pass the 100% libertarian purity test, he will be a much welcomed improvement from Cochran. His election would send a clear message to those who want to hand him "his head on a platter," for having the gall to run without their approval, that they are becoming irrelevant. That he decided to run without out the blessing of power brokers here in MS says a great deal about his purpose.

He is not considered fringe here in the state, and once people hear his message, they become supporters. I really feel he has a good shot at winning. Any advice on helping that happen is welcomed.

Where is this guy on foreign policy and civil liberties? I read a quotation where he said he wanted to join Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in the Senate. No mention of Rand Paul. Likewise, in this interview, even though the questioner had mentioned Cruz, Lee, and Paul. McDaniels only mentioned Cruz and Lee. Seems to me, he doesn't want to be associated with Rand Paul. As far as I know, neither Rand nor Ron has endorsed him. Why not?

He's mentioned Rand a lot in interviews on Facebook.

In some instances he associates himself with Cruz and Lee I think because Rand didn't really stand with them on their ObamaCare strategy. He wimped out. (Not necessarily a bad decision, but it didn't endear him with conservatives)

Why no endorsements from Rand or Ron? What does he say about foreign policy, NSA, etc.?

Not sure about Ron. As for Rand, he doesn't endorse primary challengers. The issues are on his website.

It's not just Rand. U.S. senators almost never endorse primary challengers to sitting senators. The last time a sitting senator endorsed a successful primary challenger to an incumbent was in 2002 when four senators endorsed New Hampshire congressman John Sununu over incumbent Bob Smith.
