China Wants to Build a 50 Square Mile City in the US

Thanks to the trillions of dollars that the Chinese have made flooding our shores with cheap products, China is now in a position of tremendous economic power. So what is China going to do with all of that money? One thing that they have decided to do is to buy up pieces of the United States and set up “special economic zones” inside our country from which they can continue to extend their economic domination. One of these “special economic zones” would be just south of Boise, Idaho and the Idaho government is eager to give it to them. China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach for short) plans to construct a “technology zone” south of Boise Airport which would ultimately be up to 50 square miles in size. The Chinese Communist Party is the majority owner of Sinomach, so the 10,000 to 30,000 acre “self-sustaining city” that is being planned would essentially belong to the Chinese government. The planned “self-sustaining city” in Idaho would include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, retail centers and large numbers of homes for Chinese workers. Basically it would be a slice of communist China dropped right into the middle of the United States.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the idea would be to build a self-contained city with all services included. It would be modeled after the “special economic zones” that currently exist in China.

Perhaps the most famous of these “special economic zones” is Shenzhen. Back in the 1970s, Shenzhen was just a very small fishing village. Today it is a sprawling metropolis of over 14 million people.

If the Chinese have their way, we will soon be seeing these “special economic zones” pop up all over the United States.

TJ was right.

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered...I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

I could see this years coming with our relationship with China and their over population issues. The future in this country to get ahead will be ensuring you can speak fluent Mandarin Chinese. You really can't blame them that our government allows themselves to be played for as fools.

I try to look at the bright side, instead of enduring a 28 hour flight to enjoy Chinese culture I will soon be able to enjoy it right hear at home within a few hours flight time.

All they want to do is buy some land and work on it. That's fine with me and I live in Idaho. At least some one will have a job. and then when they finally round us up I will have the newest fema camp and you guys will be stuck in the old smelly ones.

It's not fine with me. It's stupid and dangerous as hell to our national defense.

They'll probably give up and go back to their motherland once they start trying to operate here with all our overregulation... Probably will never get their 'city on the hill' built. :p

Very good point, especially in light of the 7 to 9 million homes stolen by illegal and fraudulent foreclosures by the banksters. That is just a drop in the bucket compared to what they plan to do, and the overwhelming majority of those loans are owned by overseas investors. So when China calls the notes due, we all might end up living in the streets.

Yay, globalism, "free trade" and the military/industrial complex.

Bad enough we have our own MIC turning our nation into a prison state, but, what the fuck, let's open the doors to the Communist Chinese (who the "free traders" tell me don't even exist any more) as well.

I swear to Christ I woke up in the twilight zone about ten years ago...

I'm with you, AF.

60 million people living in the streets is a bit much. That's why we have FEMA camps. At least people will have food and shelter, but they will have to work. The "freebies" will be over with.

FEMA is seeking highly motivated, creative, energetic, innovative, and self-disciplined employees to help us meet our challenging mission of supporting our citizens and first responders to ensure that - as a nation - we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards. If you have what it takes to be successful in the highly demanding but immensely satisfying emergency management career environment, we encourage you to apply for employment with us.

I wish more were with "us".

But when you've been out of work for long time, possibly for years in some of the more economically depressed areas of the country, somebody comes along and dangles a job in front of your face, even if it's provided by a hostile foreign government, most people will jump on it.

And I know I sound contradictory, seeing as how my personal ideal is "less and less government, until there is none", that goal is not going to be accomplished by letting a bunch of communist foreign nationals buy up the place.

FEMA does an essential job, I encourage anyone looking for a job to strongly consider applying over there.

We used to have laws about selling our land to foreign countries. It is called national defense.

I have seen people on here claim that having property taxes means you don't really own your property.

If that's true, then doesn't having a law telling me I can't sell my property to someone without getting the state's permission also mean I don't really own it?

I guess I don't see how this is related to national defense.
