Switzerland is the closest to non-interventionist. Allow citizens to sell crap to everybody uninhibited, have a kick butt military but don't mess with other countries if they don't mess with you.
When people insist that RP is an isolationist, Switzerland is the example I use to point out the difference between non-interventionist and isolationist. It also helps to mention that Switzerland hasn't been invaded since about 1803.
God, they've got it so backwards! What are we gonna do about them? How are we going to inform them that the answer to their problems and protecting their security is military adventurism, invasion, bombing, spending themselves into collapse and policing the world like WE do?

This is so important, considering they were geographically also in the middle of two world wars and had shots fired just a few meters outside their borders. They never get involved in conflicts, but maintain commerce with other nations and diplomatic relations.
China and Russia aren't non-interventionist. Russian invasion of Georgia? Chinese adventures in Africa? But they get far less involved militarily than the US/UK does.
