Chicago Sun-Times published my letter

I particularly like the smackdown to the older generation, clearly noting that only an older someone from the MSM establishment would condone such behavior.

Great letter! I really like your focus and how you didn't just try to as you say "plug the campaign".

Was this put in print, or just online? It is a great letter ansd hopefully will get some people motivated to do their part.

Wheaton, huh? You go to Wheaton college? I miss that place, kinda. Not in the Summer, but definitely in the fall and winter......

Loved the letter! It was very well written, with a great twist at the end!

It was in print on page 38. My mom just snatched up a copy of it from her work and I'm gonna try to scan it for everyone

I emailed Lew Rockwell and they posted a link to the article on his blog

DJ - No, I go to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Wheaton College is a great school, but they have so many rules there I never would have fit in, haha

Hey guys,

I wrote a letter to the editor of the Chicago Sun-Times about Ron Paul's censorship and I recently found out they published it. Not only that, they even put a medium sized picture of Ron next to the article, I was very happy with this!

Here is a link to the letter:

I encourage everyone to write editorials to local/regional papers, they are more receptive than you might imagine!

What a fabulous letter and a fabulous idea! This should be a "project" to get these kind of letters all over the newspapers everywhere. Lot's of people read the opinion sections. I know, I myself find them more interesting than the so-called new stories.

Terrific!! Your letter came off as very sincere and I think the clincher was how you stressed the younger generation´s disenchantment with the media while at the same time weaving Ron Paul into your message.

By the way, whatever happened to the so-called "hippie" generation, the people of Woodstock, the Vietnam-protesters, the ones who had all these idealistic dreams wanting to live their lives as free individuals? Where are they now?? Shouldn´t they be flocking to Dr. Paul´s message?

In the 60s they were far more "left" (i.e. statist) in their cultural expressions. Paul still goes against that being a libertarian.

But we do have some evidence that he's making an impact with that crowd, by the sheer amount of crossover votes we're seeing pledged. Lifelong Democrats are registering GOP for Paul either just to make the election a referendum on the war, or to support him as POTUS.

You mean the ones that were being brainwashed by the ex-Franktfurt School? They graduated from their brainwashing and are now full fledge members of the mainstream.
