Some interesting points. I hate to say it but I am starting to lean toward an independent run. As this election is showing there has to be massive realignment of order for the republicans to win. That neocon branch of the republican party IS showing that they WILL NEVER vote for RP's policies and will split from the party just to prove it. If that is the case Why not us? The adversion that many independents and Democrats have to joining the republican party is starting to become real clear by as many democrats I have heard say "if RP gets the nomination I will vote for him." The wind is against the big two parties now and For something different.

As a lifelong New Yorker, I can tell you that Trump is not going to run... He likes to create media excitement and hear his own voice and thats it......

I know he does, I'm from pretty near New York myself, but if Paul gets the nomination he might just run out of pure spite.

I'm not entirely certain Gary Johnson is the best choice of VP in terms of broad electability, as much as I like Johnson.

My real concern is more that if Paul wins the nomination, Trump is going to join the race, and Obama may end up winning in a walk. I can just see Trump doing that.

Trump will not file form 278 which discloses financials and companies he sits on the board of and owns stock in. This will give prosecutors and former shareholders of his properties the ammo to haul his ass thought the courts and cause him the loss of all he owns as well as his freedom for serial bankruptcy fraud and embezzlement.

Trump will not run. He is a loudmouthed bloviating blowhard.
