Honestly they are doing fairly well running the country. There is a lot of misinformation out there, but if you watch you tubes of people who actually visit Afghanistan it's fairly safe now.
When it comes right down to it, there isn't a whole lot of difference between the far right Muslim Taliban in Afghanistan and the far right Christian conservatives in the US.
