Yeah, way way love the silver inset better than the gold or the silver raised.

I do wonder tho what the inset would look like with only the boxed-in [LOV3] raised though... just fiddlin with thoughts, I love the insets just the way they are.

I can do that gunny, Thats the beauty of 3d modeling, anything can be made. Let me know if you want that and Ill upload it.

There are 2 options. The default option is silver, the second option is gold plated steel. The gold plated steel is cheaper and has less detail than the silver. The way shapeways works is they put "from $$$$" to entice you into buying. They list the lowest price first. Get the silver, it is worth the extra money for the amount of detail it has.

Just so everyone knows, shapeways changed the minimum depth of engravings after I made all the designs, so all the rings need to be redone. If you ordered one from them, just request a refund until I can test and fix the design.

I'd love to know when I'd be able to order a couple of these again, went to do so today and see they're no longer available.

They changed the design rules on May 1, which invalidated all my designs, and all the people who wanted one had their orders automatically canceled. It's a bummer for sure, but with the new tighter design rules in place, I would lose all the detail on the ring and it would look horrible. So I dropped the project completely.
