This REC Chairman threatened physical harm to a Ron Paul supporter if she acted to expose voter corruption activities.

Yeah, really... they didn't do anything illegal. Unethical maybe... immoral probably... but not illegal. I was there. It was ridiculous. But, it happens all the time. This isn't the first straw poll like this and it won't be the last. It's a FUNDRAISER. They don't care how they get the funds. Do we not all understand the difference? Romney should be ashamed. But nobody's going to jail over it. It'll just make us all look like a bunch of uninformed, uneducated, whiny babies.

If true, the aggressive threat of bodily harm to the young woman who threatened to expose these deceitful practices, very likely rises to the level of a felony.

The people most deeply concerned about the bait and switch after the sale events of the day, are MEMBERS of the local RECs here. If they detect corruption, deceptive practices and bullying intimidation tactics within their own local RECs, they have every right to address it and take care of it.

They are sharing what they are doing about it here, for anyone that cares to know and is following this.

If you live out of state or do not go to these REC meeting and have to deal with these people, it is easy for you to move on. The people who are members of these local RECs have some legitmate complaints and are taking action.

Because more were printed and sold, she wasn't able too and got stuck with about 300 unsold tickets. She has a right to be pissed and imagine how she is going to feel going to her next REC meeting, with Tony as the Chair, who threatened to hurt her, if she made any trouble over it.

The rEVOLution movement is about outting this sort of trash from our politcal process and parties in America.

If you don't want to get involved with helping out then fine. Why discourage others from taking much needed action, action that ethical and active Republican party members should have taken long ago.

Then perhaps that should occur before we take this nation wide and all over the internets. Even as a Ron Paul supporter to me this stinks of "you've got out done and now you're mad about it".

She she she. She made a decision and it didn't work out for her. Maybe she was lied to, maybe it was just a mistake, maybe they decided to print more when they realized they'd have a bigger turnout. No one should have threatened her - that's a big deal - run with that story and people will look into the straw poll. Run with the straw poll story with threatening thing as a detail and people will care less.

We got second place - big deal RP has won plenty of straw polls, this is just another drop in the bucket.

Because it can take away from the momentum of the campagin, it can give ALL OF US - not just yall Florida folks a huge black eye. No one wants RP to look like he's pulling an Al Gore in Florida.

We've all seen how the MSM is dying for stuff to trash RP over - why give them the ammo ? We got SECOND PLACE and all of us know we could have won it, but we didn't, the shows over, the boat has left the port.

Although this issue does have some importance my feeling is that the resources being diverted to this FL issue would be much better spent in other places.

If yall need to do some house cleaning in FL then by all means, do it. But if we're going to turn this into a bitch fest where no real rules (much less LAWS) were broken then let's just skip the whole thing and focus on the next event.

Have you seen THIS youtube video ? It sounds like a huge bitch fest. "Romney is just buying the straw poll". That's what a freaking straw poll is. This is a non-story. They go on and on about the American voting process, democracy, etc. THIS IS A STRAW POLL - NOT A FORMAL ELECTION..

So here's what I think : Give the issue some play but let's not make a huge deal over this like someone just stole the presidential election.

If I start seeing hit pieces against RP on TV over this you can guess who I'm going to blame. This has the potential to make us look like a bunch of cry babies who are mad that we didn't outfox the other guy.

Sorry for sounding rude but I really think we are best served by just moving on and letting FL do their house cleaning behind the scenes on in the local papers. If this blows up nation wide I anticipate it will not work in our favor.

I do not think any RP supporter finds fault with the individuals who voted multiple times but the Straw Poll that allowed it to happen or a campaign that knows better by handing out multiple votes to encourage and endorse it.

Ted Gunderson is a great man and we are lucky to have him on our side. He's been fighting the sickening crimes of these people for a long time. Everyone should go to his website and read the filth he fights for the American people and go to Google video's and watch his seminars.

From what I read, Sophie got 300 tickets and didn't end up selling 100 of them. Tony did tell her one vote per person. She was threatened verbally by him during a phone conversation after the straw poll, and after informing her meetup leader about it, he also called and was threatened by Tony. 2 people were threatened.

The threats and lies should be taken seriously, as this should not be the behavior of anyone involved in politics. I agree this should be handled locally.

Cindy. I wouldn't waste your time trying to convince everybody here. Many people here just do not understand the implications of this and haven't a clue how corrupt the system has become. Many of us know this is a preview of the Primaries and the Elections to come. This lawsuit is a just cause and I hope it is successful and sends a message to the rest of the GOP thugs and their Dem counterparts.

Don't waste your time arguing with people here....frustration is the only thing to come out of it. I'm looking forward to reading the complaint when filed.

Ted Gunderson obviously hates America. Can't we have some sort of vote of our own? A VOTE TO CONTROL THIS LOONATIC TED GUNDERSON! Clearly he should have submitted this plan for our collective forum approval first. I say this shaves at least 1 basis point off our Florida poll numbers, we can't afford not to do what they tell us! That trouble-making lady should have kept her domestic dissident mouth shut. These are exactly the kind of juvenile 5 year old antics that will make us lose! We need to be more tactful. Ted and the troublemaker should have simply found some signs that say, "We wish you wouldn't do this sirs!" and then sat out on a patio discussing them via laptop over the internet.

I only hope we can recover from this blow.

Actually I think that was John DeCamp, Nebraska State Senator. Although John and Ted are very close friends so perhaps they worked on it together. Not sure if you are mocking the so-called homosexual sex-ring but if you are perhaps you should read John DeCamps book on the subject (The Franklin Cover-Up). It's no mocking matter I assure you.
