Cheating in FL straw poll prompts Criminal Complaint

OMG....are you really serious that a man with the creds Ted Gunderson has is irrelevant because he is a "truther"? Maybe people ought to wonder more about why this brilliant man is a truther instead of having your Pavlovian Dog responses to him being a "truther".

Ted's creds:

Federal Bureau of Investigations

1977-79 Senior Special Agent-in-Charge*

Los Angeles, California

1973-77 Special Agent-in-Charge
Memphis, Tennessee and Dallas, Texas

1973 Chief Inspector

1965-73 Asst Special Agent-in-Charge
New Haven, Connecticut and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

1960-65 Special Agent Supervisor
FBI Headquarters, Washington, D.C.

1951-60 Special Agent

*Prior to retirement in 1979, Ted Gunderson had over 700 persons under his command and operated a $22 million annual budget.

My point was that we may not want the kind of media attention he would bring. We are trying to get the Good Doctor elected, not convince the American people that 9/11 was an inside job. I know people feel strongly about these things, and I did not intend to offend anyone.

If we are going to go ahead with this RON PAUL should not be mentioned as well as Ron Paul supporters

anywhere Ron Paul or Ron Paul supporters would be insert Republican candidates and GOP Supporters

No need to tie us to it

I'm re to this post and this lame youtube video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDjPY_ngxNU

This is a straw poll - this is in no way tied to the state and has zero protection under the law.

Stop getting so knee jerk , this is totally lame.

From everything I've read and heard Romney and his supporters didn't break any of the rules much less any laws yall may imagine govern such things. From my understanding this is 100% a PRIVATE function - not a government function.

Stop crying about it already - this is how straw polls work.

I understand where you are coming from but seriously, get over it. Ron Paul is winning plenty of straw polls. Save all your righteous indignation for when the real voting fraud occurs.

If we're crying voter fraud at straw polls no one will believe us later if real voter fraud occurs in actual elections.

Yeah, really... they didn't do anything illegal. Unethical maybe... immoral probably... but not illegal. I was there. It was ridiculous. But, it happens all the time. This isn't the first straw poll like this and it won't be the last. It's a FUNDRAISER. They don't care how they get the funds. Do we not all understand the difference? Romney should be ashamed. But nobody's going to jail over it. It'll just make us all look like a bunch of uninformed, uneducated, whiny babies.

The complaint is not against the Romney campaign. It is against the Florida GOP, who IS responsible for the poll and the claims made. If they made fraudulent claims in an effort to raise money, then, it IS fraud.

The other claim of threat is against a single person, who happens to be a member of THEM at the FL GOP.

Before you all condemn an ex-FBI agent to making "frivilous" claims, I suggest you wait until the complaint comes out to see what the complaint says. I'm pretty sure he knows a tad bit more about the laws than you guys.

This will only hurt the RP campaign, not help. If he wants to use RP as a role model, note that RP would also not whine about something like this. The straw poll is meaningless anyway. No media is really talking about, RP came in second, so no biggie.

And the "announcement" was poorly written and very unprofessional.

We have the lead in straw polls anyway

Besides maybe not illegal straw polls can have crazy rules and if they let their own rules be broken...

Ted Gunderson obviously hates America. Can't we have some sort of vote of our own? A VOTE TO CONTROL THIS LOONATIC TED GUNDERSON! Clearly he should have submitted this plan for our collective forum approval first. I say this shaves at least 1 basis point off our Florida poll numbers, we can't afford not to do what they tell us! That trouble-making lady should have kept her domestic dissident mouth shut. These are exactly the kind of juvenile 5 year old antics that will make us lose! We need to be more tactful. Ted and the troublemaker should have simply found some signs that say, "We wish you wouldn't do this sirs!" and then sat out on a patio discussing them via laptop over the internet.

I only hope we can recover from this blow.

Another felony was perpetrated when REC Chairman, Tony DiMatteo
verbally threatened to ?hurt? a Ron Paul supporter; now a
felony crime victim-witness.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF FORTHCOMING FELONY COMPLAINT
by Ted Lee Gunderson, Private Criminal Investigator
FBI Senior Special Agent in Charge (retired)
Gunderson Professional Investigations

This cheating (i.e., rigging) at the recent Pinellas County GOP
straw poll debate by Pinellas County GOP staff, Romney's
Campaign staff and others--including his unscrupulous
supporters--not only constitutes felony fraud and conspiracy,
it constitutes an outrageous abuse of the public trust that
must not be tolerated by the American people. Former FBI
Division Chief, Ted Gunderson, who is an ardent 'Ron Paul for
President' supporter, has decided to investigate this criminal
act further and file formal felony affidavits against all known
and yet unknown perpetrators to this criminal conspiracy.
Another felony was perpetrated when REC Chairman, Tony DiMatteo
verbally threatened to ?hurt? a Ron Paul supporter; now a
felony crime victim-witness.

The forthcoming felony complaints will be posted @
http://www.1-free-dvd.com and/or http://www.tedgunderson.com
...then... submitted to the a Pinellas county grand jury and
local prosecutor where the straw poll vote fraud took place and
also to the federal government/Department of Justice.
Fortunately, we have the irrefutable film evidence of the
villains being caught red-handed in the act of felony fraud and
conspiracy-collusion to rig the outcome of this vitally
important straw poll. Does Mitt Romney condone or otherwise
support this kind of criminal conduct? Will he fire the
culprits or at least apologize for the crimes of his dishonest
staff and supporters? Now every straw poll purportedly won by
Romney must be investigated for similar crimes perpetrated
against Dr. Ron Paul, the other GOP candidates and the American
public.

Those Ron Paul supporters who retaliated by going back to vote
multiple times should not have repaid "evil with evil" since
they, too, are subject to felony prosecution in like manner as
the Romney conspirators. Ted Gunderson does not believe that
Dr. Paul would condone multiple-ballots-voting just because the
Romney gang did it first. This kind of cheating and felony
fraud is outrageous, unjust, immoral, unethical and un-
American!! Felony criminal complaints are forthcoming!!!

Ted Gunderson requests that everyone help us publicize these
felonies and get this email out to everyone you know. Spread
the word that Romney's staff and unethical GOP personnel are
engaging in outrageous felony crimes and these crooks need to
be brought to justice immediately. Prison terms for these
criminals will send a clear message to unrighteous Americans
that this kind of felony "vote rigging" will not be tolerated!

Fellow Americans who wish to have their names added to the forthcoming felony complaint should email:
[email protected] and provide your first & last name
and complete mailing address. Just write: FELONY FRAUD
COMPLAINT in the subject line. The final criminal complaint
will be published at www.1-free-dvd.com

Emailing now.

Umm...even if the multiple voting at the straw poll was illegal (and it probably is not), private citizens can't file criminal complaints in court. Only the state or federal government can bring criminal felony charges. Being a retired FBI agent, he should know this. It makes it hard to take him seriously.

The verbal threat might be considered a true crime with a victim, but a case like that is almost impossible to prove in court. One person's word against another, and even if proven what was said, how can it be proven easily that this was a threat of physical harm? I say it's an unwinnable case legally, and counterproductive politically.

The issue of Romney supporters stuffing the ballots, I don't there is any crime, this is a frivolous lawsuit, I think unwinnable legally, and counterproductive politically.

What would Ron Paul do?

I have not heard Ron Paul publically complain about any crimes occurring at the Straw Poll.

This matter should not be brought to the legal system. It will create negative blowback against our campaign.

I don't see what he did that was illegal. Underhanded, poor form, and all around sleazy sure, but the rules of that straw poll (as far as I know) were one vote per ticket rather than one vote per person. It was a way to raise money for that county's GOP.

sell one guy 80 tickets? that's bullshit. the entire place was pro-RP

Ted Gunderson is a great man and we are lucky to have him on our side. He's been fighting the sickening crimes of these people for a long time. Everyone should go to his website and read the filth he fights for the American people and go to Google video's and watch his seminars.

Yeah, good old Ted's fighting the good fight to expose the CIA involvment in the Wendy's 'finger in the chilli' incident: http://www.1-free-dvd.com/ABOUT_ANNA_AYALA_FELONY_INFO.html

He also rambles about poison gas and ray beams.

Seriously, it looks like he's either gone off the deep end or the only thing poisoned is the well (as in disinfo)

Ron Paul understands the idea of a binding contract. Without binding contracts, free markets cannot work. They informed those buying the tickets that there was only one vote per person. They also lied about the limited availability of tickets. This is called fraud.

The problem is, those rules changed the morning of when Romney saw the RP invasion coming in and panicked that he would loose it.

Prior to that day, the RP supporters who are members of the Sponcering RECs said, a cap had been put on the amount of tickets that could be sold (but then, after RP people bought a block) they printed more. They also said that the rules were one vote per person. The day of, they changed them to one vote per ticket and didn't tell anyone about it except for Romney supporters.

Straw Poll or not, it was deceptive and people spent money beleiving the first set of rules would hold true.

A bait and switch took place to make money off of trusting people.

There is a video clip of a poll worker being asked what the rules are about voting and if voting multiple times is allowed. She said, " I don't have to answer that, get your camera out of my face"

Anyone have that clip handy?

If they were doing nothing deceptive and everyone knew multiple voting per ticket was allowed, common and that the voting was just a friendly fund raiser for the GOP, ,why on earth would she have such a reaction? She reacted with nervous hostility and like someone who needed to plead the 5th or else incriminate herself.

And why, when confronted about the bait and switch tactics by one of their members did Tony say, " Don't create any trouble with this or you will get hurt?"

Friendly and honest Straw poll and fund raiser or deceptive money making scam and crminal threats to cause bodily harm if it wasn't kept hushed up?????
