Charles Krauthammer: Ron Paul's remarkable achievement

Do NOT trust Krauthammer. He knows that Dr Paul is in it to win, and is trying to downplay his chances. Won't work. Krauthammer won't be so nice when we continue getting delegates and start winning states!
 
He's trying to paint a picture of Ron Paul's best-case-scenario, when it's actually Ron Paul's worst-case-scenario. He's not "coming around", he's hedging his bets in an attempt to remain relevant as a political analyst. Whether it's now, or 2016, he knows that a time will come when neocon hacks like Bill Kristol and himself will be out of a job.
 
Remember, the Kraut and Kristol are on Obama's payroll, along with Newt... all three work for an Obama Defense Department think tank, along with Gloria Borgia's husband (you know the "newsletter" queen of lies for CNN), so don't believe one word that ever come out of those "pretend journalists", but really war mongers for their person wealth. They will all gladly see your son and daughter die, to line their pockets.

Come on, he used to be the speechwriter for Walter Mondale, no doubt he can write whatever crap he wants; he has lots of experience lying and deceiving.

But the point of this is that it marks the beginning of their attempt to co-opt us. They figured out we were too big to STOP, now its time to misdirect.

If the upshot of this is that we end up co-opting them rather than them co-opting us, I'm game.

The point is that the party is beginning to move our way because they know we are gaining ground and they are shrinking. This is how our agenda wins.

Until we have the leader of the Senate as a conservative and a bunch of conservative minded senators, Rand can only do so much. The power is with the old guard for now. We must change that. They rule the committees and the influence and are fighting hard to protect their power.

Same thing in the House.

There are some people at RedState who swear that Ron will hand the reins (nomination) over to Rand this year, thereby ridding them of the age issue, the foreign policy issue, and gaining in the electability issue. Just reporting what some are talking about in neoconville.
 
The old guard is crying out its last death throes. Do they now think after ignoring, ridiculing, smearing, laughing at, lying and so many other losing tactics targeted against Dr. Paul, that RP supporters should now be susceptible to false flattery?

We have come to a fork in the road. Socialism is failing in America and worldwide. Corporatocracy is failing in America and worldwide. It is time for a new and more honorable path, that of a true free market. It is now time for an honorable man at the helm of our country, not another narcissistic sociopath.

I greatly admire Mr. Krauthammer's intellect, but I believe he has chosen the wrong side in this debate.

Yep, they do. They've slammed as hard as they could, it didn't work (as evidenced by RP's increasing poll numbers - and remember, these are the polls that are public - I'd love to know what they see from private polling!)

They're counting on us not being able to discern what it is they are doing - they believe we will feel so overjoyed to see RP treated halfway fairly that we'll be easily snookered into the GOP tent so that the neocons at the top can continue their wicked, wicked ways.

No. One. But. Paul.

eta: it's pretty insulting to read some of these boneheads insisting that the Ron Paul Army will fall in line if they give him a speaking spot at convention.

Really, guys? We've worked all these years ... to get Ron Paul a speaking spot at the convention?
