Rep. Chaffetz SLAMS & Subpoenas FBI Agents for FULL Clinton Email Probe File

"We decide what's relevant — not the Department of Justice, not the FBI," Chaffetz said. "We are entitled to the full file."

Yunno... I regret using the word 'SLAMS' in the title.
Chaffetz is a complete pussy.
What is WRONG with people??
It's like he's been neutered.

He's not NEAR as angry as he should be. OUTRAGED!!!!!!
These FBI bureaucrats ($6 million worth)
should be trembling for FEAR of contempt of Congress (or worse.)
This is so luke warm... I'd rather it be hot or cold.
Ugh. Sick o the whole mess.

Jason Herring, Acting Assistant Director for Congressional Affairs at the FBI, is served a subpoena to provide the FBI's full investigative file during the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on classifications and redactions in FBI's investigative file of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in Washington, Monday, Sept. 12, 2016,

Why is it when these guy break the law people think that resigning or getting fired from work is equivalent to going to prison?

I always think of "credit card" @ 18 seconds, whenever I see Chaffetz. They will be just as successful as they were with "Fast and Furious" - political theater at its finest. Nothing will happen, and some sexting or politician/NFL behaving badly story will displace this one.

Pagliano defies subpoena to avoid testifying on Clinton emails

Pagliano defies subpoena to avoid testifying on Clinton emails

Former State Department IT specialist, Bryan Pagliano, who set up Hillary Clinton’s private server
ignored a subpoena to appear Tuesday before a House committee hearing,
while other tech experts who helped maintain the system
asserted their Fifth Amendment right not to testify.

Platte River Networks' Paul Combetta (the "oh shit" bleachbit guy) who wiped Hillary's server pleading the 5th today...

https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4619808/clinton-email-investigation-witnesses-take-5th

I can't understand this. I follow this story pretty closely and it baffles me. Platte River networks received the congressional preservation order. They all testified they knew of such an order in early march. Then in late march following a phone call from Mills, they deleted it anyway. How is this not a crime? I don't understand how anyone looking at this with even the slightest intellectual integrity could NOT come to the conclusion that laws were broken and prosecutions are justified.

I don't get it either... why aren't these guys in jail? None of this makes any sense.

For those who "do not recall" the specific timeline leading up to Combetta wiping Hillary's server, here is a brief recap (see "The "Oh Shit" Guy That Wiped Hillary's Server With BleachBit Was Just Granted Immunity"):

December 2014 / January 2015 – “Undisclosed Clinton staff member” instructs Combetta to remove archives of Clinton emails from PRN server but he forgets.

March 4, 2015 – Hillary receives subpoena from House Select Committee on Benghazi instructing her to preserve and deliver all emails from her personal servers.

March 25, 2015 – Combetta has a conference call with “President Clinton’s Staff.”

March 25 – 31, 2015 – Combetta has “oh shit” moment and realizes he forgot to wipe Hillary’s email archive from the PRN server back in December…which he promptly does using BleachBit.

February 18, 2016 - Combetta meets with FBI and denies knowing about the existence of the subpoena from the House Select Committee on Benghazi at the time he wiped Hillary's server.

May 3, 2016 - Combetta has follow-up meeting with the FBI and admits that he "was aware of the existence of the preservation request and the fact that it meant he should not disturb Clinton's e-mail data on the PRN server."

forward to 1:25 mark for the reading of the email exchange between Combetta and the other undisclosed PRN employee.

"Wondering how we can sneak an email in now, after the fact,
asking them [the Clinton camp] when
they told us to cut the backups....
and have them confirm it for our records.

Starting to think this whole thing is really covering up some shady shit.
I just think if we have it in writing that they told us to cut the backups
then we can go public with our statement
saying we've had the backup since day one
when we were told to trim to 30 days...
[THAT] would make us look a whole lot better."

It was very symbolic when the camera panned over all of the various federal government agencies as he called them all failures at doing their job. All of them looking sad, confused, and completely incompetent. I am sure this is coming from from partisan fueled motivation from Congressman Chaffetz, but at least he is making some of these agencies look dimwitted and useless.

If the congressional committee pursues this I would imagine that all the underlings will go to jail and Clinton will still not be prosecuted.

What Is the FBI Hiding?

What Is the FBI Hiding?
From the Awesome Judge Napolitano
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2016/09/andrew-p-napolitano/whats-fbi-hiding/

Congress took the FBI to task for its failure to be transparent… it was apparently necessary to serve a subpoena on an FBI agent to obtain what members of Congress want to see …

The publicly known evidence of Clinton’s recklessness and willful failure to safeguard secrets was overwhelming. The evidence of her lying under oath … was profound and incontrovertible. And then we learned that people who worked for Clinton were instructed to destroy several of her mobile devices and to remove permanently the stored emails on one of her servers. … after these items had been subpoenaed by two committees of the House of Representatives. …

the FBI … knew of the post-subpoena destruction of evidence and … failed to return thousands of her work-related emails as she had been ordered … chose to overlook the evidence of not only espionage but also obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence, perjury and misleading Congress. …

it is probably true that the FBI was restrained by the White House early on. There were numerous aberrations in the investigation. There was no grand jury; no subpoenas were issued; no search warrants were served. Two people claimed to have received immunity, yet the statutory prerequisite for immunity … was never present.

Because many members of Congress do not believe that the FBI acted free of political interference, they demanded to see the full FBI files … the FBI declined … and the agent it sent to testify about them declined to reveal their contents. This led to a dramatic service of … on live nationally broadcast television. …

in response to a request from the Senate Judiciary Committee, the FBI sent both classified and unclassified materials to the Senate safe room. … the FBI violated federal law by commingling classified and unclassified materials in the safe room, thereby making it unlawful for senators to discuss publicly the unclassified material. Imposing such a burden of silence on U.S. senators about unclassified materials is unlawful and unconstitutional.

What does the FBI have to hide? … Sen. Grassley has opined that if he could reveal what he has seen in the FBI unclassified records, it would be of profound interest to American voters. …

I would think that a "House Oversight Committee" task would be to gather information not stifle or prejudge or predetermine that there was no wrongdoing. No person belongs on that committee if they think there was no wrongdoing or feel it is for political theatre.
