Here's something else to think about. When Ron Paul got 9% in Ames, it was dismissed because it was a small straw poll and the skeptics said "so what - that's all the support he has and it was all bussed in to town for one day".
Tonight Ron Paul really got 10% across the board, and he did get some 2nd and 3rd place finishes in some of the counties.
A big victory? No. But it is undeniable that Ron Paul has a base of support and that it DOES turn out.
